The Predator V1 is a great option for a budget friendly price and you get to support a USA veteran owned business. The optic is well built and accurate (certainly enough for me). Glass is crystal, objects are clear. No need to pay big bucks for a dot that does the same. I have it mounted on a 300 blk AR pistol with an 8.5” barrel. Mounts easily and looks good. Also co witnesses with my magpul flip sights which is an added bonus. Once you have the sight mounted where you want (I fired several rounds to check eye relief) just add a couple of drops of blue loctite and it isn’t moving. The shipping is fast and Tacticon is a company that stands behind what they sell - 100%, so no worries if this doesn’t work out for you.

For the money this is a very nice dot sight. The features and design are all well executed, and the optics are perfectly clear. I put mine through the test in humidity and warm/cold temperatures and was unable to initiate internal fogging - so that was a real PLUS!The dots (both green and red) are crisp and clear, but there is a mild artifact/reflection of the dot inside the glass - but not really enough to be distracting. It appears more in low-light conditions, and it is completely imperceptible when used in full daylight (basically, you'll see it indoors or at night, but never during the daytime outside). It might bother some, but it really isn't a show-stopper by any stretch of the imagination.When I received mine, there was a huge internal glare from the dot light source that was really bad - but it turns out that the one I got was damaged - possibly in shipping. I contacted customer service and was immediately offered a replacement, and the new one was as described at the beginning of this review - MUCH, much better! Customer service from Tacticon is absolutely First-Class, and they will bend over backwards to make sure you are a completely satisfied customer - and in my case they succeeded with flying colors!I used blue locktite when I installed mine, and have had zero issues keeping it tight on my rifle. I've fired a few hundred rounds with mine installed as well, and it has held true perfectly - I will update if that changes, but I'm confident that there will be no need.Battery life is great as well - I've been using the crap out of mine since I mounted it, and am still on my first battery.Tacticon is a Veteran-owned/operated company - and this Veteran appreciates that immensely!Would I buy this unit, or from this company again? Wanted something cheap for my range AR15. Looked at reviews for red dots and this came up on a lot of lists near the top. It was really cheap but looks good and solid so "pulled the trigger" and bought it. Great decision. Durable and pretty decent quality. Works great and really easy to setup, getting it sighted in took about 20rds maybe. The adjustment ticks are a little different, takes like 3 ticks to get a noticeable movement out of it so had to adjust to that is why took so many rounds i think. But they also just came out with a budget 3x that pairs with this you should check out on here. Mounts in front of this and from what I've seen looks beautiful, on my Wish List. I've bought several things from Tacticon now and I've loved everything I've gotten. All durable, well made and I love that it's a Vet company. If you guys happen to read this, awesome work & awesome products, keep it up guys!**Note: 100% do what the instructions say and tighten it with a socket wrench. I said "Eh it's tight that's not going anywhere" Super wrong. Wasted all that time and ammo getting it sighted in only to have it off sight after about 3 range visits, haha. Make sure once you get it sighted in you tighten it down right!
