What a lovely little Ferro Rod well worth the money easy to use and makes a lovely pendant around your neck ,would buy from this company again anyone wishing to buy a small present for a bushcraft person I think they would be well impressed with it

Gave this little rod a go and it's surprisingly effective despite its size. Easier to use if you hold the lanyard while striking. Perfect as an emergency ferro rod for my primary and backup fire kits while in the field.

Great emergency backup firestarter. Seems to stay on. No problems with it popping loose and falling from my neck. Great to have as a backup item. Generates good sparks and is good quality.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He is into survival gear. He loved it. He wears it quite often.

Received the necklace today. Struck the ferro rod less than10 times to test like on the video. It did spark, but a chunk of ferro rod broke off from the middle. Had the necklace for 2 minutes before it broke. (As pictured). Tried to request an exchange but Amazon requires me to drop off at a location 10 miles away. That’s 20 miles round trip for an under $20 item. I’m just going to eat the cost. Would have loved it as I am camping in two weeks. Oh well bad luck. Two stars for good shipping and it sparked. Took three off for bad customer service, far drop pff location and low durability.
