Awesome
These are the best jerkbait I have used. I will be honest, I cannot say I catch more fish with these than any other, because there are too many factors to fishing that can determine how much I catch, but I can tell you they have great action in the water. If you look at them closely compared to other jerkbaits they are a little bit more slim and have a sharper backline than most jerkbaits which are just rounded. I believe this gives them their action and makes them a bit better. They have great colors to choose from, with a shallow and deep version, big eyes, and suspend pretty well right out of the box. Since they are all a little different, you may find yourself adding some weight to a few. Be prepared to set up any jerkbait based on your location. This color is my fav color, it seems to do well at my lake for some reason. Probably closely resembles some of the bait fish. This color is very natural looking while still giving a darker tone to make it stand out on the back.Anyway, these are slick lures that work well. I bought several, you should too!

Solid action, great looking, only one big downfall, catches fish.
The Shadow Rap Deep in the mossback shiner color is currently my favorite jerkbait. It has a great amount of flash, the colors look phenomenal, it works as advertised, and even though it got a lot of hype, it holds up to that hype in a serious way. The major downfall of this lure is definitely the light wire stock hooks. Yes, I still use the stock hooks because the lighter wire means the hooks penetrate much better and I'm not catching 15lb stripers on it but they will bend under certain conditions. I've never had the hooks bend on a fish itself but I have seen them bend while trying to get them out of an angry fishes mouth with pliers. The split rings could also stand to be improved I'm sure but both of those things can be replaced yourself. Though you shouldn't need to replace them for any reason at the price, it's a downfall I'll live with. The action of the lure is phenomenal itself and it has a ton of side to side movement when used right and very little forward movement, keeping it right in front of a fishes face till they lash out and eat it. It has a very slow fall and it looks great, fish love it. I personally feel it's better than both the husky jerk and the x-rap in versatility but they all have their place. Generally I use it for smallmouths but it's also my current go to for walleye. It's also my go to, alongside keitechs, whenever fishing rivers since it keeps all of it's action in the current unlike some other lures. It's actually my overall go to for the Delaware and it slays smallmouths and caught me my first walleye (21 inches) on the Delaware river. It also got me my biggest yellow perch in the early spring of 2015 which was about 15 5/8 inches. I use it a lot in early spring on my home lake and catch good numbers of largemouth alongside the large perch and crappies. The lure's produced firsts and some personal bests and that means it'll keep it's place in my box and be quickly replaced if I lose it. Overall, great lure, good detailing, wonderful action, catches fish, and works wonders in big and small rivers for smallmouths. I highly suggest it and whether you're fishing for largemouths or trout, it will produce good fish.

Good learn terrible hooks
Giving 3 stars because this bait works but I didn’t have time to change the cheap hooks that come on this before a tournament and like other reviews the hooks bent straight out when landing trying to land a fish :(

Great bait, bad hooks
Hooks are pretty weak, would benefit from swapping them out before using. Wish I had...
