they sell it as a traditional bow, but you get a pretty bow with wooden ends wrapped in some sort of red pleather in the middle, once the glue fails and the pleather peals back, you see that the main body of the bow is either plastic or fiberglass. yeah, traditional.

I was very careful, and very sure checking all descriptions and photos while painstakingly researching this, and all similar items. I bought it for a friend who wants to get into archery after shooting with me one day, and she commented how she would like to have a holder/quiver for the bow itself... so when i shopped, i looked for a kit that included a bow quiver. This kit HAD ONE, in both the photo and the description. So i bought it. Imagine my dismay when i opened the box, which had no padding, and wasn’t very well secured. At first i thought the quiver must have been stolen out of the box, so i quickly went and looked at the item back on Amazon. The picture and description had been edited. Some corporate bean-counter must have decided to save a few pennies and increase profits by keeping the price the same while quietly eliminating an item from the kit. I knew i was right when i went back and checked the reviews, and several customers mentioned the BOW QUIVER in their reviews. SHAME, CORPORATE BEAN-COUNTER!!! Busted! Otherwise, the bow is perfect and beautiful, the accessories (missing the quiver!) are are great, the arrows good quality (but needing target points, not hunting broadheads: who hunts with a 25# bow?) and so i didn’t send it back. Overall a good package for the price. Just beware alterations in the order when you aren’t looking!

Great item,but with a few details that need to be taken into consideration. For example, the stripes on it need more glue. Some folks could take this item to decorate a wall. If this bow reaches their expectations could be a key player for a man cave. In summary, you won't waste your time if you buy it

Accurate bow!The arrows it comes with are serious, and heavy.also can shoot with my regular carbon arrows.Something feels really nice about not having an arrow rest. Feels like I can just trust my hand. I'm a 5'3" female and I forget how long this bow is. Never shot a bow without a rest before, and I thought I didn't need the leather grip at first but my hands were quickly chaffed by the arrows without it.The string on mine was not uniform in thickness where the bow would normally notch which made it interesting -- yes it can shoot "upside down" but it kind of gave the bow multiple shooting stances as a result. Not sure if this is intentional.I'm generally pretty strong and I can pull my 45lb compound but this bow feels like its harder to pull than that at a comparable weight, and the arrows are heavier and definitively can do more damage. About 30ft away I shot the same target multiple times and literally got the same spot over and over again.I can't yet pull the bow as far back as I would like but I'm getting close, it is a bit of work. Beautiful piece of work though, the nicest part is that I don't have to rely on anything but my hands to aim it. I always hated rests and this is great, although the leather rests on each side is showing some wear from me firing it so much. I definitely am going to order a better shooting glove to help with my pull and endurance.

Beautiful bow and three sharp, straight arrows.The package was damaged during shipping and one arrow was broken, but the bow and other contents arrived intact.The arm protector is cheaply made and not useful.

Bought this bow as a Christmas present for my daughter, who wants to get into shooting sports. I didn't want to buy a super expensive, high-end bow setup until I knew how she would like it. This bow looks really cool, but is not one I would use for serious archery. It does not have an arrow rest, which doesn't affect its usability, but will def impact a first-time user, who will have to pay attention to arrow placement. The wrapping started coming apart after only a couple of uses. The arrows are cool, too, but far too bulky for practice, especially on the lighter draw.Overall, I would recommend this for someone who wants to play around with a cool-looking bow and shoot cool-looking arrows, but if they were serious about shooting sports, I'd send them to Cabelas.

it arrived quick and with no damage . light weight quick , bow the arrows are what they are but your not ordering this for the arrows if a point comes off do what I did buy some 4000 psi weatherproof wood glue and put it back . simple the finger tab is effective , if your planning to use a thumb draw get a thumb guard unless u got ape hands which ...let's face it some of you have ...a great little shooter could be priced a bit lower or keep the same price and keep the finger tab and include a leather adjustable thumb guard which is traditional!

The red synthetic leather is detached from the bow body which was stuck with glue. I've never used it!
