A good price for good cultures
I started with 400 ml of LC and now have 4 lbs of healthy grain almost ready for the substrate.

I was mainly interested in the Blue oyster, the blue pins looked amazing. It was contaminated. Now if you look at anyone's negative comment on liquid culture it is almost always about contamination. BUT from where in the process, we don't know. Not knowing for sure if it is Earth Cap's problem or NOT, they corrected it anyway and sent me another. I am super pleased with Earth Cap and will be buying from them as soon as I can work in some more liquid culture. Again, they took responsibility for the error even though no knows where the contamination came from.

Skiitake 3782 was contaminated
photo is 2 days after petri dish started. No return communication from seller.Time will tell on the other 4 cultures.-1 star for bad culture, -1 star for communication.Update: lions mane was contaminated also

Great product, great service! I have had problems in the past with other suppliers' cultures not taking on the first try, but I have never had a problem with Earth Cap cultures. I will definitely be using them in the future for all my mushroom culture needs. Prompt delivery and strong, healthy cultures. Thanks!
