Sturdy and easy to fit with screws The weak link is likely the screwed attachment into the door frame. We have gone with longer screws bought from hardware store. We have tried to get bolts with a mushroom nut on the outside of the doorframe but trying to get the right length and then install then was too tricky

These brackets are great quality. Super strong. This was an easy and inexpensive way to help turn a bedroom into a saferoom. Very pleased.

Excellent quality and strength, works perfectly and easy to install. With 5 screws per bracket, it is very secure. A 2x4 piece of lumber fits snugly and doesn't move around, jiggle or fall out. I used one pair of brackets on the top 1/3 of the door and another pair on the bottom 1/3 of the door. Now the shed is bear proof.

Buy yourself 1/4" lag bolts for the installation. The provided hardware is cheap
