10/10 would buy again
My husband has been using this products for a while and LOVES it. It honestly has helped shave more frequently which helps him look more put together. because it is so easy to use it really encourages him to use it more and makes him look more put together. Very easy to travel with and he brings it with him everywhere. This product charges and self cleans really quickly and easily. It is super functional and fits in our bathroom perfectly.

Smooth to touch, close shave!!!
The razor, has been around for over 75 years, maybe longer. Great value for the money. Easy to Use, wet or dry. Three rotating heads, a fast speed, provides a clean, smooth shave. The best charging system ever!I remember TV commercials, with Santa using the razor as a snowmobile.

Pretty good, could be better
I appreciate the shaving capability of this razor. It handles one day or multiple days of growth effortlessly and consistently. The circular pattern is the trick for me.Three things are not so great.First the odd decorative design or the head prevents easy access to tight spots like just under the nose. Needless “wings” get in the way and necessitate odd and uncomfortable shaving angles to get at the last little spot.Second, the pop out trimmer is very floppy and difficult to use except in only the downward motion which keep it open. And other pressure quickly collapses it. Sometime I need to push up just a little bit cannot.Third, the Bluetooth connection is horribly unreliable with a brand new iPhone 13. It so bad I have given up, which is too bad since it was one of the features I appreciated. Pairing, unpairing, forgetting the device, resetting the device. Doesn’t matter. I would have expected a razor at this price point to work as well as other Bluetooth devices that cost $150. Nope.Lastly, the cleaner is kinda gimmicky but does seem to work. I usually thoroughly wash the razor head open under hot water first so it’s already clean then use the cleaner once or twice a week. Does it help? No idea, but if it keeps things lubricated that’s good.

Shaves easier with less effort
Shaves faster, smoother and closer than my previous model. I like the built in pop up trimmer also.

Shaves better than my older Norelco
I like the closeness and comfort of the shave. This shaver is large. I have used Norelco shavers for decades and like them. This one is bigger but it seems to do a better job of shaving. I didn't like the little tab that releases the heads for cleaning. While on a trip, I accidentally brushed the tab releasing the spring loaded head and whisker dust dumped out all over the place. The carrying case is nice for travel. I have not used the cleaning pod yet so I have no opinion of how it works.

Don't pay attention to the negative reviews
This is a great shaver. My previous shaver was a top of the line 9300 something model. Despite having all of the features you could possibly want, I wished I would have bought a less expensive model. The neck on the 9300 unit was overly flexible and after a while would detach spontaneously in the middle of the shave. It is so loosely held on that it comes off 2-3 times each use. This new model has a firmly attached head unit. It also glides over the face. To all of those people who say that the hard to access hairs are difficult due to the square contact points, this is a non-issue. With a little twisting and proper placement, there no left over hairs on my face.Despite this being a mid-line model, the shaver quality is far above last generations high end model. It is easy to use, glides over the face, it does not catch on the face, and shaving is fast and easy. This is a good product.

Norelco S7886/84 The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
Let me start by saying that I have not used an electric razor in a very long time. When I was much younger, (about 25 years ago or so), I used one very regularly because standard razors were so hard to use. The shave was ok, but never really good, and I never felt like I got a close shave. When I tried my first multi-blade safety razor, I embraced the non-electric shave, and didn't look back...until the price of razor blades got a bit prohibitive. I decided to look into an electric razor again, and see how the technology had improved.I was going to go for a more expensive unit because I'm a bit of a tech nerd, and they used some of the right terminology to attract me, nano technology, titanium, rapid charging, micro beads for comfort etc., but my wife rightly pointed out that if I wanted to TRY the electric shave again, I should go with a mid-line unit and see how it goes. After several days of research, I settled on this unit to give it a ride, and see how things have improved. The Good,This is a comfortable razor in terms of its ergonomic design. It's actually rather pleasant to hold,The travel case is very plush, and has a stiff/soft exterior so that if I ever did travel with the razor, I feel it would be well protected. The shave is adequate, better than the old-school razors I used to use, but not quite as good as a blade, but I really can see myself using it as a quick alternative to the full shave when I have a busy day ahead, and as I get used to the razor, I may be able to have better luck. The razor charged very quickly. I had a full charge in about 40 minutes. The operation of the unit is very simple, one button to turn it on and off.The beard trimmer is a nice added touch, and actually worked pretty well.I like the idea of the included cleaning unit, though I have not used it yet. The flap for the blades opens easily, and dumping out the shaved hair was relatively simple.I have yet to explore the app, so perhaps it will give me some instruction to get a better shave, but I can't imagine needing an app to complete a process I have been doing since I was 14 years old, but for a person using an electric razor for the first time, it might be a good extra perk. The Bad,I did feel a little burn after I was done using the razor. It didn't last long, but it wasn't the most comfortable experience I have ever had shaving. Again, this may improve as I get used to the razor, but I feel I must point this out.The spacing of the 3 floating heads is rather wide, and though it shaved my cheeks and neck effectively, it was very hard to get a close shave under my ears, and under my jowls. I ended up using my blade razor to do some clean up the next day.The button is a bit sensitive, and when I put the razor away for the night, I did accidentally turn it on as I was closing the case. The Ugly.Be aware, the unit does NOT include a charging brick. I guess maybe you could use the included USB charger to charge your razor off of your computer or your home charging station should you have one, but since I store my razor in the bathroom, and would rather keep it there for obvious reasons, including a brick that was the right wattage for the razor would have been a much better choice.Depending on the model of razor you purchase, you only get certain accessories. the manual is very specific. If you purchase one model, you only get the protective cap. This model comes with the travel case, so you don't get a protective cap, so you store the unit in the case to protect the blades. If you get the unit with the charging station, you don't get the cap or the travel case, and so you store it on the charging station. At this price point, not including a small, plastic cap to cover the blades should I decide to leave my razor on the sink seems...well...ugly.That's about all I have for now from my initial impressions. I may update this later if I decide to use the app, and find more effective ways to get a closer shave, but for now, I am glad my wife convinced me to go with a less expensive unit. I see this as a quick alternative to a full shave, and a good unit to travel with instead of having to bring my bladed razor, shaving cream, etc for a trip, but I don't think this unit will replace my bladed razor completely.

Very good razor.
I wore a full beard for over 20 years, but needed to be clean shaved for a while for some surgery. I was surprised how electric razors have improved. At least this one has.Dry shaving with this razor gave me a very smooth shave and no skin irritation. It was also easy to clean. For me, the razor lasts a week without recharging.
