Nice bright light. Now to heavy. Narrow enough it allows a good grip. Metal not plastic which is a major plus. If you purchase good batteries you will have a perfect flashlight. Price is right because quality is great. I live where there are mountain lions so we need reliable flashlights.

I am so pleased with this very sturdily made, yet light weight flash light. It covers an extended distance that is adjustable. Very ample and bright light beam. Very pleased with my purchase and am going to purchase another one for a family member.

Haven't had to use it all that much yet, but these certainly seem like exactly what we were after: rock solid feeling, old-school D battery style flashlights that are bright and can be on hand in the event of a power outage, etc.

Would be 5 stars if it didn't have strobe. I understand it's in the description but it's hard to find one without it. Battery life with a decent brightness is mainly what I was looking for and this one has that. Also like to replace the batteries when they die and not have to charge it so that's a plus. Good price as well. If someone would just make a flashlight like this with high and low it would be priceless

A surprisingly bright and sturdy general purpose flashlight for the money. I am a "flashlight nerd" and own or have owned multiple lights from different manufacturers from lights costing $300 to ones costing $10 and typically, you get what you pay for at both ends of the spectrum but this one did surprise me. No, it's not a Surefire or an Odin but it definitely fills a role. I wanted an inexpensive light to keep by my back door and as I had an abundance of C batteries and nothing to use them in, I took a chance on this one. I figured I'd spent a lot more on others so if it didn't work out, it was no loss. When I pulled the light from the package I was surprised by it's weight. Not heavy but "solid". It was comfortable in the hand and my only, minor complaint, was the location of the on/off switch which is at the rear of the unit. It is also sturdy and works fine I simply prefer the switch to be up by the bezel and accessible to my thumb but, that's a preference thing and definitely not a deal breaker especially for the lights intended purpose. I would like for the company to manufacture a version with the switch in the forward position though. The bean is rather typical of the lower priced LED lights I'd had, the brightness and throw are both more than adequate for for the job and the spot/flood feature is easy to use. At max spot, the shape of the LED which is used is visible and effects the illumination area somewhat but this is typical of other flashlights in this price range. I've had the light for about a year now and while it doesn't see a great deal of use, it's never failed when I have needed it. As an aside, I have also used the light with AA batteries using conversion sleeves and the performance was not effected. The adapters are handy and only require that I stock one type of battery. When my stash of C batteries run out, that will be what I use in it. All in all, I'm very happy with the light and am actually ordering another one for by the stairs leading to the basement
