Q: is this compass watch waterproof, for temporary accidental submersion in water, i.e. use on wrist when kayaking?

Hi, I imagine that it is waterproof but I have not tried it out in a 'full immersion' situation that you might experience while kayaking. It has come out fine from full-on rain and partial plunge into a stream, so I'd imagine it'll be OK when you're paddling.

It's fairly robust, the strap is uncomfortable as it's a cheap velcro one but it does the job. I don't use it for precise nav, only for "which way is North" kind of nav. It's probably about 45mm, small and discrete.
