Shea Nilotica | Cold Pressed and Unrefined | East African Shea Butter 5LB Pail

Some of the best moisturizer I’ve ever used on my skin and hair, definitely recommend to the natural girlies who want to condition their hair and skin.

Had not heard of this brand before, but ordered after my regular manufacturer sent me an old, smelly batch of grey-looking Shea, which I wasn't impressed with. First ordered this in May not knowing what to expect as not tried East African Shea before. Delivery was fast & came well wrapped in plastic inside the tub. This is nothing like any other Shea I have used previously. The texture is real creamy, light scent and makes for a beautiful DIY butter. So far, I have used it to make face cream/butter, body butter and hair butter for two different hair types. I've tried melting method and also whipping cold straight from tub method. Both methods produce wonderful results. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for. Ordered the 5lb tub, which will probably last me about a year. Will definitely buy again & try other products from this line.

I don’t think I’ll ever go back to using regular Shea Butter in my products after this! This butter is a game changer! So smooth and creamy and easy to melt! Very worth the price! I love how moisturizing it is for the skin and how it doesn’t leave a greasy feeling! Will be buying again!

This is my second time purchasing. The shelf life of Nilotica is typically 24 months. I had my first batch longer than that with no issues! The second batch is just as fresh looking. High quality. Smooth like butter. No greasiness, the color is exactly as it should be and all the skincare my body needs!

I need a moisturizer that is free of chemicals as retail hurt my sensitive dry skin, after online research I found this type of shea butter that is different because it is sooo soft and spreads easily, my skin loves it as I have to use it everyday, absolutely love it and recommend it highly

I’ve received my Shea butter yesterday , and I am so excited! This butter is soft, melt right on your skin, very very light nut scented, smells very fresh! It is the best butter I’ve ever tried. I have already use double boiler method to melt half of it, and added my favorite French lavender essential oil. My recipe is every 5lb I add 1.2 oz essential oil, and that’s it. I don’t add anything else or whip it. Will be a returning customer. This stuff is so fresh! Thank you!

All pure & natural! I’ve tried a few other shea products and so far this is the one to my liking and skin tone. Super light and fluffy, great scent, and applies evenly with no after grease.Works well with other butters and oils, still staying to its original consistency.Great for winter and summers, leaving you glowing and hydrated. Definitely impressed with this product !

I have been using shea butter as a whole body moisturizer for several years. While this shea butter is moisturizing, it does not have the skin-healing properties of the other brand of organic Nilotica East African Shea Butter I have used, which, unlike this brand, has been effective in treating small skin wounds and burns, skin cracks, insect bites, and eczema, Also, this shea butter leaves grease on the water as I shower, and a greasy residue on my bathtub that is not dissolved by hot water from the shower and is difficult to clean off. I will not buy it again.
