I made the switch from mono to braid a while back and used this line to spool three Pflueger 35 reels. It's very strong and abrasion-resistant. However, you will need to learn how to tie some special knots to keep things together. I did notice that I have a higher incidence of wind knots but I think that they are caused by issues of maintaining tension on the line during retrieval.

Does the job
Switched out a couple reels from PowerPro and have been pleased. Casts well, holds good knots and perform ms as it should. Seems a bit thicker than the PowerPro, with some added friction but as it wears becomes easier to handle.

This line is great!
Best braid line I've used over the past 12-15 years. I use the San Diego jam knot for hooks & swivels and a 20-25 wrap Albright to connect the braid to mono. never has me yet. Casts great, lays on the spool well and is my go to for inshore, bottom fishing and tuna fishing. I do suggest for night fishing for tuna, you use a hi-vis line. The dark green is great during the daytime but hard to see at night. It makes it harder on the deck hands to figure out where your line is in the water. Especially when tangles happen.
