Works for HP pavilion
I have nothing but good things to say about this pen. I don't have the best hand -writing but the write to text works wonders, I wrote this review with the pen. I am a college with little to no motivation to write notes from lectures. But now with this pen, I can just annotate lectures. If you're as lazy as me, I would tell you to invest in this pen, you get to be eco friendly for just €25. Life is a gamble, and I think you should bet all you have on this pen (no l am not a marketing student, and yes I know this was an amazing pitch and no, I won't switch courses.) I don't know why you're still reading this long ass review, go buy the pen already!! (you can thank me for being the catalyst to you getting your degree)

Very good overall
Writing ability works well with HP Pavilion x360 i3 core 8th gen. Cons: * writing slow using the windows pen protocol causes jagged lines, due to the pen interface trying to figure out where the pen is on the screen. This is not evident when writing or drawing at a standard pace, only when really slow movement of pen is used does this problem occur. * Traction on the screen could be a bit better, however the coating on the laptop itself prevents any friction - due to it being so shiny. I miss the traction on the samsung note, this is another minor issue that could be solved by the developers adding a small rubber coating to the tip (in future). Pros: Overall generally great pressure detection, good for writing on screen or highliting.

Useful pen to have
I got this pen honestly was expecting it to not work with my older HP Envy convertible, but I was pleasantly surprised. It works well, it's not pressure sensitive, but it's a handy thing to have if you want to jot down notes. It also works with Adobe photoshop. The only issue I have is when my hand makes contact with the screen at the same time as the pen, but I'm sure there is a way to change settings for Windows ink. Overall a good buy. 👍

Not working
I have missed the return date on this as I did not use the pen immediately. It does not work. I have ordered another battery to see if this will rectify the problem.

Not that great, but...
Set-up is child's play and it works well enough with my HP Envy laptop; my biggest gripe is the sharp edges of the pen's clip - this regularly makes contact with my hand and makes using this pen very uncomfortable. I have no clue why the edges aren't rounded, as surely someone at HP could have worked out there's a serious flaw in the design of this pen! Anyway, as I got this pen cheap in the sales, so rather than return it, I decided to carefully file down the sharp edges on the clip with a modelling file and then finish off with a fine grit sanding sponge - ending up with it smoothed out on both sides - what a difference! If you do this, take your time and I recommend a small bit of masking tape is placed under the clip, to avoid doing any damage. I unscrewed the top to do this of course. Mine now looks and feels ten times better … or as it should have been out of the box. Take note HP if you even bother reading these product reviews.

Not a real pen
I am sure this is a really good pen for the computer so I give it five stars unfortunately I did not realise it was for computer use only and thought it was a normal pen. If you are buying this as a day to day pen please beware as there is no ink inside it. Not even the option to buy ink cartridges. I have kept it as I may buy the computer for the pen but for the minute I am happy to keep as a prop when I am at home and need to look like I am writing.

Great product for price
Much cheaper than other active pens but works perfectly! I like the fact that you don't need to connect this via bluetooth, just put it on the screen and it instantly works! With compatible apps, the screen doesn't detect my hand when I am writing so I can just rest my hand on the screen no problem while I draw. While you would have to order the batteries for this thing once the ones it comes with runs out they do last you around a year with moderate usage.

Works with hp envy x360
Was bought a hp envy x360 and was told that if I wanted to buy a pen for it, I'd need to pay about £100+, so I thought I'd look to see if there are any others (genuine ones not 'alternatives'), only to come across this. After reading the reviews I thought I'd give it a try and I must say, I'm very impressed. It works perfectly. There are two buttons on the side of the pen, which I don't really know what they do because there isn't anything in the user manual/instruction booklet, but doesn't interfere with what I'll use it for. Would definitely recommend, can't fault it!

Tuve un percance con el cargador, pero solucionado al ponerme en contacto con el vendedor. Un 10 por su rapidez. En cuanto al bolígrafo encantada!🙂

I bought this product for use with my 2017 HP Spectre x360 machine. The 2017 Spectre x360 laptop comes with Windows Ink compatibility and an N-Trig digitizer on the screen. I am not an artist and I have no prior experience with active pens, but I think this pen works great on my laptop. With the Windows Ink apps and OneNote this active pen works almost as well as using a pencil on paper -- I am very impressed. The tip glides over the surface with almost no friction, which takes some adjusting when you are used to writing with pens or pencils. But it is extremely accurate -- you can cross your t's and dot your i's with the same precision as if you were writing on real paper. I did some writing and drew some sketches and the end product almost looked like I had scanned a real notebook of mine (but cleaner). It has a pressure sensor on the tip so pressing harder will affect the way your lines look. If you're using the virtual pencil the lines will get darker, and if you're using the virtual pen your lines will get thicker. Perhaps the best part is the palm rejection technology. While I was writing and drawing I was able to rest the edge of my hand on the screen just like I would rest my hand on paper and my hand simply was not detected. At the same time if I wanted to use my fingers to pan the view around or pinch to zoom, I was able to do so easily. It comes with a battery that supposedly should last many months, and two buttons that have different functions depending on what app you are in. Usually you can hold the bottom button down to transform the pen into an eraser. The build quality is good from what I can tell, it feels like a sturdy metal pen. No setup was required, I just put the battery in the pen and then tapped the screen with the tip of the pen and it instantly began working. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that it is expensive. I have little doubt that in a few years products like these will probably be more common and cost much less. However, at the moment it is still cheaper than the official Windows Ink pen from Microsoft. I can't even say I'm extremely put off by the price considering it is a new product and it works so well. If you have a laptop with Windows Ink support (make sure it is an N-Trig digitizer, not Wacom), and you want to use it to draw or take notes, I recommend this product.
