Managed to pick up the book for £15 via Amazon Warehouse...! Always check out the side options when buying...possibly a return but no marks or usage of any kind.The book is full of C64 memories, remember the amount of arguments with Spectrum owners whose machine was best? Bring this book to the table...lolDownside: Why have zoomed in images? Most images are not the full screen - they defo missed a trick there.All in all. If you loved C64 and Zapp...it's worth it.

Lovely substantial quality book with great images.

This is a missed opportunity, I was really looking to getting this book, but I'm disappointed. Why the extreme close-up pixelated images of the games? Sometimes you don't even get a full screen, just a zoomed-in fraction of it. That's what you get for each game. It hardly shows the C64 graphics in a good light. Why couldn't we have had several smaller screen shots for each game showing key moments in the game play. Sadly, they went for the style over substance approach, which misses the mark completely because most of the target audience for this book like the classic old-fashioned approach. Maybe next time.

I saw the first paperback edition of this book and was wondering whether or not to get it, and I was unaware that a second add-on edition had been released. I'm glad I delayed, however, because I can now buy this hardback combined edition. Great print quality. two bookmark ribbons, and plenty of insights and memories.

If you are a C64 nostalgia fan this book is a great read. I loved my old commie and love the fact that the scene still carries on and gives momentum to little gems like this. I'll admit the price is a little steep, but if you have the spare cash it's worth the spend if you are still into the old breadbox.

This book exceeded all of my expectations and really brought back great memories from the past. The content is well researched and put together and the quality of the book is superb, great paper, great print, great image quality. Others should aspire to deliver products like this one.

I liked this book but, although I've always been a 64er, the one about the Spectrum goes deeper, with many interviews and focuses on the developers.

This is a great book for those looking for some retro nostalgia. Some real icons in this book and would be a perfect gift for a retro gaming fan.
