I'm afraid of heights, so painting my own house is a nightmare. This saves so much hassle, as you can save going a few metres up a ladder by attaching this to a pole. Allowed me to get clean crisp lines on the top edge of my external walls, which I couldn't do with the roller or a brush. It'll be much smoother and less hard to slide on internal walls, but I can confirm it definitely gives a nice clean edge even on external render. Would love a second pad though. Only downside I noticed was the clamp holding the head can come loose, as it swivels to stay in the corner you're painting. Just tighten it every time you reload.

What an absolute waste of plastic! If I couldn't have returned it, it would have gone straight in the bin. It looks well made with a threaded handle so it will go on an extension pole and a rubber grip. But the actual pad is cheap, doesn't fit well and there's only small, plastic tabs on the holder to keep the pad in place, so when you start painting, the pad pops out. And then when you do manage to start painting, paint goes up the ceiling too, so no nice straight lines as it's meant to do. Useless.

I thought it would be better than it was. Followed instructions to the letter but it still went on ceiling. I've gone back to using paint brush only.

Great item does the job

Tried it, not impressed. - I bought this to "try" and paint a nice line on a very tall wall (stairway) that I can only paint with a pole. The tool does indeed screw into it, so that was a win. - Paint pad has a tendency to slide out should you drag the tool down the wall, the pad slides in behind a few small tabs and not held "that" securely. - If you get paint on the wheels, then you end up getting the paint on the thing you don't want it on. Its all too easy to achieve this!. - Getting paint onto it is tricky too, Trying to dip the flat pad into the paint without getting elsewhere is not as simple as it looks. I found it best to use a paint brush to paint it onto the pad in the end. - Build quality feels like a cheap plastic gadget.

The main tool is a little roughly built but the important part, the pad, is of reasonable quality. It’s meant to be updated after a number of reviews stating the pad can stick to the wall and come away from the handle, I didn’t have that issue so looks like they’ve fixed that problem. Ultimately the line, which is about 3 mm from the ceiling, is consistent, fine and as straight as the ceiling is. I found I could get about 1m before having to reapply the paint (directly to the pad using a paint brush so it’s not overloaded). It definitely saved me time and I was happy with the results. Much better than my efforts by hand.

This product is not worth buying, the best thing this edger does is full apart and make a mess, it has ended up making more work for me. So now im down money and time. Don't buy

This is a great product that will help you achieve a straight line. The tip to have great results is to use a paint brush and lightly apply paint on the brush to the paint pad. Avoid touching the wheels with paint to achieve best results. Will highly recommended and purchase again.

Non è il primo tampone che utilizzo e non è né il migliore (con setole in merinos) né il peggiore. Le rotelline che fungono da distanziatori sono davvero funzionali. È vero che non avendo i fermi da ambo le parti, qualche volta il tampone si sfila se ci si distrae e si sbaglia il verso della pennellata. Ma è una questione di abitudine, manualità e concentrazione. Unica pecca, l'avrei gradito più grande ma fa comunque il suo lavoro. Si devono eseguire gli accorgimenti come per tutti gli altri tamponi: mai sporcare i bordi. Inoltre si deve utilizzare obbligatoriamente la vaschetta con il rullo per tamponi, non una qualsiasi vaschetta, altrimenti si rischia di sporcare il tampone e di non utilizzare la giusta quantità di vernice.

C’est tout petit et ça ne fait pas sérieux et pourtant ! Pourtant c’est l’outil idéal pour peindre vite et sans faire de taches les objets pas trop grands et les finitions précises. Sans taches, sans débordement, sans bavure. Vite et bien fait pour un prix très raisonnable. Paaarfait !

For a beginner or a slow pace painter maybe but as a tool poor craftsmanship and no replacement pads . Pad falls out
