The question is... is the pain worth the outcome of retention?... yes... yes it is

not quite what I thought they were they are designed to fold in half they are only long enough to go through two loops. if that’s what you want I guess they’re OK

Awesome alternative to traditional mollee straps, ordering more
These are definitely better than standard nylon mollee attachment straps. I've been using the Maxpedition tactie straps which are strong (Cordura 1000D etc) but these Malice Clips are easier to use and just as strong if not stronger, and tighter fit, much faster. Very easy to weave through molle/pals webbing (comparatively to standard tacties). I think a couple of the low reviews must have been from first-time mollee users that had no comparative use; mollee itself isn't super-easy; but compared to traditional fabric straps, these are super-easy. I also like the "locking" click when you've inserted the tab into the end once the weave is complete; only clips I've seen that do that. Before I was using a small carabiner as a "lock" for certain gear in case the traditional straps failed or came loose. No need here. Make sure you pay attention and order the right size; these fold mid-point (unlike the Blackhawk ones that are OK too but I ordered both and prefer these to the Blackhawk which weren't easy to use and do not fold allowing you to use longer clips on shorter sections. I'm ordering six more sets of these now after getting both to pilot. If in doubt, order longer vs shorter, due to the design of these Malice clips, longer will almost always work too; unlike the Blackhawk design (non-folding) which won't work unless exactly the correct size. I ordered one pack as a pilot and just ordered 4 more packs to replace some traditional straps. I move pouches and an admin panel between a 2-3 day backpacking bag and a 1-day sling bag often, this makes it MUCH easier, before I was ordering duplicate accessories for both bags so as not to have to constantly be moving them; these straps make it easy to move, reduce the time/effort 95%.

Exactly as described
Used it to mount Esstac 1+2 pouch on my tactical belt. Fits like a glove, very sturdy, but the mounting process OMG pain in the butt! It's not an easy process.

Solid lockup, works as intended.
I attached a fold up dump pouch to a "range" belt 3 days ago and threw it in the closet. It'll probably sit there for months. Best I can say is, "The malice clip, aside from the color, looks identical to one I acquired from a Combat Veteran of Afghanistan. His lived on his vest the whole time over there and still works flawlessly. I needed more than one and after a bit of Amazon research chose this set. At this point I'm happy with the purchase. Found the clip lockup to be secure, and the stress points intact after wrenching it around."

When you need to larp with the bois
Awesome clips to secure my Esstac Kywi mag holders to my Ferro Concepts Bison belt. I needed a new mounting solution for the Kywi mag holders due to getting a new gun belt. The belt features molle on the exterior and the old over-belt system I used wouldn’t work for the Bison Belt to provide a secure hold. A couple of Landsharks later after watching some youtube and some Amazon surfing led me here. Looking cool is half the battle in modern day gear purchase and these clips fit the bill.
