Qualtex Effective Indoor Internal Condenser Vent Hose Kit

Simple to set up and works effectively. Having to keep my dryer in the garage for a little while and this is great to use when you are unable to fit a permanent vent for your dryer. Remember to check the water level from time to time to keep it running effectively. Not sure how effective this would be in a more confined space with less airflow. Can’t complain for the price.

Well made tumble dryer condenser for indoors, bought it for a beko dryer, as it gets very windy here and just putting the tube out of the window is dangerous most times. Since getting this product we have been using it daily, the hose is well made and a lot like the oringinal one we got with the dryer, its easy to use, but you must remember to always fill it with cold water or ice everytime you use it. I f you don't your windows will steam up.

I liked the fact that it does what it says it does and so far just water is working and not causing condensation, it’s also very easy to attach to your dryer the only slightly hard part is undoing the clips to clean the box and put in fresh water so maybe not good for people with dexterity issues

I was excited to receive this condenser vent (sad, I know) but in the middle of building works (obviously halted) and as it was originally vented externally I needed an alternative. So, is it worth it? NO. It doesn't do much to stop ANY condensation. It blows straight out into the room. It does, however, catch the 'fluff'. On top of this, it was very difficult to take the clips off the unit to attach the tubing and add the water, that much so that one side snapped straight off. It is now in the bin. My advice is not to waste your money on this item.

A good quality purchase if you find yourself in a rut. Although it is not made from decent materials, especially the box section, it's a good mean of distrubuting your hot air suppply from your dryer anyhow. A bit of a doddle to assemble and you have to a bit delicate when assembling it together as most of the components are made out of a cheap plastic that is quite surprisingly brittle and prone to snapping, but one assembled, it performs remarkably well. I bought one as I don't have a proper ventalation system in where my dryer is so it's help me out by ammending the issue. Upside: Great if you need to properly distribute your ventalation system with your dryer, Downside: Made from cheap plastic (Except the hose) and a pain in the *** to assemble because of it.

arrived quickly, but condenser does not work, tried adding ice cubes and chilled water from fridge but room was completely steamed up have returned to putting hose out window, my advice is buy a condenser tumble dryer. some reviews say it works for them they must be drying small items it certainly is no use for towels or heavy items !!

This does exactly what it is suppose to,no problems with it at all,it has even cut drying time for me which is also saving me money.No problems with the quality,very simple to fit the hose, one end into the dryer other end into the box!I I can honestly recommend this.

So far so good. Was really sceptical about ordering this as there were such mixed reviews across all types of condenser boxes. I used the hose that came with the box as the original hose on my tumble dryer was too wide to attach. I used the middle sized ring to attach the hose to the box. The middle one means you can fit the hose in tightly no chance of air escaping or it coming away from the box. The pictures/instructions on the box I got a bit confused with but I worked out how to get it to together pretty quick. I filled with quite a bit of very cold water. I keep the dryer in a cloak room cupboard and yes I can feel hot air being blown out of the box but the clock room walls stayed completely dry, I did leave the door wide open though. I'm extremely surprised that it is working so effectively!! :-)

I used this on a Magic Chef dryer, size 2.6 cu.ft. The Magic Chef dryers use a 3" diameter hose, which is actually somewhat uncommon, a 4" and 5" hose is standard. This kit comes with adapters which enable you to use either a 3", 4", or 5" hose. They include a 4" diameter hose in the kit, but it is cheap plastic, plus it wouldn't fit the Magic Chef dryer. The vent kit I ordered came from the United Kingdom, so allow at least 2 weeks for it to arrive if you're here in the States. You could use the dryer in the meantime without it if you wanted to. You fill this thing with about 1 1/2" of water, hook your hose to it, and let it sit there and do it's thing. When the dryer is running, you can feel a certain amount of warm air coming up through the lid of this vent box. In the summer months it might heat up a room pretty good if no air conditioner is present. In the winter months, it'll probably be like having an air blown heater in the room, at least while the dryer is running anyway. I just set it up on top of the dryer, but you could also set it down on the floor and run the flex hose down to it if you wanted to hide it. I purchased a 3" aluminum flex duct to go with the Magic Chef dryer. It will fit the 90 degree elbow that comes with the dryer just perfectly. You'll need to flare the end of this hose a little bit in order to work it onto either the elbow or the vent kit, since it is a very tight fit when secured. Make sure to have a zip tie handy that is at least 8" long to secure it to the dryer elbow. The above vent kit comes with a couple of zip ties that are plenty long enough. Es un producto ideal para aquellas secadoras que no disponen de filtro. Te vienen 3 adaptadores y un par de bridas para que no se suelte el tubo de la secadora. Has de poner un poco de agua para que el polvo se adhiera a ella y con esto ya no hay motas de polvo en la galería. Un gran acierto.
