The photo on the buy box shows the towel bar and drawers on the right hand side when facing the unit from the drawer and door side. These were on the left hand side on the unit we received. We placed this with the left side against a wall so I just left the towel bar off. Honestly I think that the towel bar would have just been in the way in our setup so all is well. My better half loves this thing so it has been a very good purchase for us. Plan on a half day of assembly depending on your skills etc.. I always put a little dab of wood glue on the wooden dowels to make sure that things will remain solid over time.

I like this blue island a lot. It's a great size, it's sturdy, so are the stools. I like having a variety of drawers and the cupboard. It fits nicely, and I like the versatility of being able to put half the countertop up or down. The drawers are not as deep, but they are sufficient. It is doable to push the island, it would be easier, if they had wheels on the legs, or something on the bottom of the legs to make it easier to push into place. I think the price was reasonable, it's nice to have a paper towel holder on the other side as an option, the colors beautiful, I would purchase this item again, I recommend this item, just know it takes some time to put together. Budget your time wisely, if you are not used to putting these types of furniture together. When you open the box you will see several different baggies of different sizes of screws, it's labeled nicely, so you can put it together, but it is a little overwhelming to look at when getting started. Also, remember when you're putting the siding together, you may think they drilled the holes wrong, but it most likely will be the metal round piece that needs to be turned where the holes match up, which is easy to mistake, if you're not used to putting this object together. So, I recommend you either budget time for yourself to put together, have someone help you, or pay someone else to put it together for you. I am very satisfied with the outcome 💯👍

This item is available at multiple stores under various manufacturers with a huge difference in price point. I’m glad I didn’t pay more for this than I did. The company Polibi was great to work with, and the island looks great. The island itself is definitely not Ikea quality. The instructions were inaccurate. For example, stating that you would use an Allen wrench for a particular screw when in fact, it had a Phillips head, or indicating that there would be an arrow on the cam lock when these particular cam locks had no arrows. The cam locks are extremely flimsy, very prone to bending. This makes the item not very sturdy, considering cam locks are what is holding it together. The drawers aren’t necessarily practical, because the item is so shallow that when you open the drawers, there’s only 9 inches available in order to put your items. Therefore, a lot of items won’t fit in there, or you won’t be able to get them in there easily. Also the drawers have very small wheels and are quite loose and fragile-feeling. Although drawers are usually preferred, for such a shallow piece, and open cabinet might actually be a better use of space. Another. frustrating aspect was that some parts came already scratched, showing white underneath. The plastic joining pieces that that go on the back are completely scratched. These definitely came out of the box scratched. I put this together alone. It was not it difficult, and it took all day. Overall a decent piece for the price.

Either the screws that go in the cam locks were too short or the holes were made about 2mm too far in and the cam locks wouldn't turn. Daily messaging for over two weeks with customer service was very frustrating. They did eventually give me a full refund.

Back story. I had actually ordered this from Overstock in April 2023. Said it would be delivered in two weeks. After 5 weeks I was told it might not arrive until August. No explanation given or updates on my customer order page. Cancelled the order then found it on Home Depot (for about $100 less). Stated it would arrive the next week. It did no and I discovered it was on back order with no delivery date know. Found this on Amazon ($300) dollars less. Cancelled Home Depot, ordered from Amazon and it was delivered in less than a week. I am now happily using it in my kitchen.

My grandson (10) and I put this together in about an hour and a half. He has eaten every meal at the island since we put it together! I love the fact that there is storage, the leaf lays down and the the stools are a perfect height.

This was fairly easy to put together. Also good to have extra drawer space there's a good amount of storage. The drawers could be bigger since there is space Inside of the island. I didn't like the stools at first but once we put ithe island n the kitchen, I thought they were okay. The price was great save about $150.00 buying it thru Amazon.

The appearance looks great and the instructions were detailed, but can take a long time to put together. My biggest complaint is the wood top is peeling and we’ve only been using it for a couple of months.
