Such a well written book! Easy to follow along and read. I love how the chapters are broken into days so it can be easy to reflect on everyday. This book taught me so much and helped me reflect on my walk with the Lord and whether I had the fear of the Lord or not. Such a good read! Highly recommend!

Required reading for anyone in leadership
The Awe of God by John Bevere is a deep exploration of a crucial yet often neglected aspect of the Christian faith. John’s sincerity shines through in his writing, as he shares personal experiences and biblical truths that resonate with readers. His heartfelt passion for the subject is clear, making it evident that this book is not merely a theoretical discussion but a call to action for believers. The message of the book is timely, especially in a world where reverence for God can easily be overshadowed by modern distractions. John stresses the need for the body of Christ to rekindle a genuine sense of awe for God, urging believers to recognize His holiness and power. This is an important concept that, if fully understood, has the potential to change lives and communities.Furthermore, John’s insights are particularly significant for leaders. I encourage you to take these words to heart and apply the principles outlined in the book within your life. By promoting a culture of reverence and awe for God, leaders can motivate their areas of influence to deepen their faith and commitment.Overall, The Awe of God is a captivating read that promotes both individual and collective reflection on the nature of God. It serves as a strong reminder of the deep respect and wonder that should define our relationship with the Almighty.

A Biblically Based Call to Live a God-Fearing Life
I cannot recommend this book enough. I've already given it to four other family/ friends. This book has both humbled and enhanced my relationship with God. Having a healthy fear of God is an idea that I have found to be often glossed over in the modern Church, and this book serves as an antidote to that oversight. Each chapter is chock-full of biblical support for the ideas presented. While some of the chapters might be supplemented with Bevere's own life experiences, the focus of the book always remains on biblical text. It is a relief to not have to constantly analyze and cross-reference an author's writing to see if it lines up with Scripture, because so often Bevere's writings in this book are in direct reference to a biblical passage that he recently cited just a few paragraphs before.I am a fanatical reader, and can happily spend hours at a time immersed in a book. However, on numerous occasions it would pain me to sit down and actually open this book to begin reading because of the many questions this book asks that forced me to wrestle with God in a way that painfully revealed many of my shortcomings. Is this book easy to understand? Yes. Is it written well? Absolutely. But for every 5 minutes I spent reading it, I would spend at least 10 minutes in prayer just wrestling with the various messages held within the book. 10/10, this book is powerful.

This book was life-changing! I've read a lot of Christian book over the past 25 years but nothing like this one. It forced me answer some tough questions truthfully and honestly. And the results have been life-changing! I think this book should be a requirement for all new believers. It explains so much I wish I had know years ago. Because you don't know what you don't know and that can greatly cost you!

A life changer for me. Healthy fear and awe of God. Get engaged!
If you are serious about your relationship with God, this is an excellent read on how to develop an intimate relationship of fear and awe not to scare you but to teach you to lean in to him because he is the one who is your provider and your savior. Each day lesson plan is easy to read and very short but poweful, about 2 or 3 pages, each with some application questions at the end. It's about 42 days of daily reading.***** Don't live like God is coming some day. Live in healthy fear and awe like God could come today !!This book is changing my life.
