In a change from D'Addario I recently put on a set of Ernie Ball's, they were dead after six weeks, flat sound, wouldn't stay in tune, went back to D'Addario, so different, bright sound, easy to tune, lovely feel under the fingers, would recommend highly.

I've been using D'Addarios for decades and use nothing else, both for acoustic and electric guitar. They last longer, do not break as frequently and do not rust in the sealed packs they come in. The EJ24s are great for DADGAD or open D tunings. Also, the lighter 3rd and 4th strings do not fight back when bending or vibrato-ing the 2nd. Smooth, well-finished and a good price.

Great strings these, I a have used all the others and these are hard to beat, they sound better the more you play, sound great drop tuned, you get that nice crisp mellow sound with them. Will definitely be sticking to these and definitely recommend them too.

As I play in DADGAD a lot I've always used these strings since discovering them several years back. Good tone and clarity from them, and I only have to change them every couple of months at worst (unless I'm recording in a studio). My favourite string brand. They work fine retuned to standard tuning too, and in open C

I guess I'm a very gentle guitarist - my last set of D'Addario lasted for decades. I read about someone who never changed their strings and they got warm and lovely. Well mine never broke and I don't play that much so I just never changed them. I don't think they improved with age, I guess I just got sentimental. Buying these was therefore a major mental shift - but I made it! I find them very warm and bright and quite wonderful. If I keep them as long as the last ones they'll see me out. In the days when I liked to buy lots of new ones (and even broke them sometimes) on an electric guitar, I always bought A'Addario, but could be just habit.

Really great sounding strings, long lasting and feel really nice. However, there's a lot of finger noise when sliding, and they are really tight feeling. The action on my guitar had to be altered for them and they require a lot of force to press down. I normally use super slinkies, which tend to have a slightly dull tone on my acoustic guitars so these really brought the guitar to life. Would recommend, especially if you want a workout for your fingers. Be careful though, because it's easy to misplay barre chords.

Nice to have colour coded ends, so even in a rush, it's very unlike youll put a string in the wrong place :)

Me gustaron bastante las cuerdas, el sonido que producen es muy puro, un sonido limpio. Ahora, hablando físicamente de las cuerdas, tienen una excelente presentación, además vienen todas en una sola bolsa, a comparación de otras cuerdas que he comprado que vienen individuales. El tiempo de llegada también fue rápido, según Amazon iban a llegar dentro de dos semanas después de haber realizado el pedido, pero en realidad me llegaron dos días después.

La calidad es la prometida y la que puedes esperar de DADDARIO, suenan increíbles., Además de que no son muy caras. Definitivamente las volveré a comprar.

It's the brand of strings I always buy for my guitars! Not on here perhaps, this is the first time I bought in France through Amazon. I love the sounds each set of strings gives. This particular one is warmer indeed, and they last pretty long until you have to change them. Pretty resistant, not rusting for quite some time. The feel is rather comfortable and fits my playing style. I use thicker strings because I don't bend them much (plus I play bass so I'm more used to thicker strings, if you're a beginner it's best to use thinner ones). Anyway, for the price? Buy buy.
