GLS Audio 1/4" Jacks Female TS Mono Panel Mount Jack - 4 Pack

These 1/4" jacks are the best I've ever used, despite having experience with many different ones.

Works great with my Auduino synth. Tested it on the breadboard output with my headphones and everything is coming in clear. Since it's mono it's only one side, of course. One thing to make sure is to get a solid solder joint with the wiring or you may not get a clear or any signal at all.

Rugged, precision made jacks. They take the solder well when connecting cables. I wanted just a little less tension to allow for easier insertion/removal of the quarter-inch plug a couple times a day. I made that adjustment in about 3 seconds with a pair of needle-nose pliers. I'm glad I chose these and will look for GLS for future needs.

I do electric guitar setups and repairs. Output jacks, which get a lot of use, are often one of the many ways manufacturers cut corners. These appear to be a reasonably priced upgrade replacement.

I ordered these audio jacks after trying some cheaper imported products that did not work well. These jacks, on the other hand, are very well made. The metal is thicker on the blades, so they lock into the male connector more solidly. The threaded section is longer, so it's easier to fit the jack to a guitar or panel. Overall, these are very good quality and I will continue to use them on my builds.

I've only used one jack but so far it appears to be well made and heavy duty/durable. Used it for a bass guitar jack and it has worked well for half a year or so (the factory jack died much quicker than that). I'll be using more soon.

Seem to be ok when they work. Of the 4 that I bought, 1 turned out to be defective and had a dead short between signal and ground for no apparent reason, causing a long debugging session, questioning my skills, sanity and life choices.

I created a key holder with my 3d printer and needed the parts to be able to make the project work. Easy to install and good qaulity as well.
