Bosch2608000149 Sanding Plate for PDA 100 and PDA 120 E

As a genuine Bosch replacement part for my Bosch sander it matches the original and therefore fits perfectly. I was really pleased that these are still available as my sander must be getting on for 20 years old.

Had to purchase a new base pad as original worn out due to cheap sanding disc which damaged the velcro that held disc in place. Decided to buy Bosch original part as others poor in quality. Will only purchase Bosch manufactures parts and accessories in futurer. Cheaper is not a good move as I have learnt.

This is the weak point of all velcro attach type sanders. Once you have damaged the tiny hooks that hold the sand paper on the machine head, the paper flies off more often and you damage the hooks further. Eventually the head won't hold the paper any more.A new plate make the machine like new. Very expensive but cheaper than a new machine

I have the bosch PDA 120 E, when I bought it, it came with this sanding plate plus a louvre attachment. Over 10 years later and the unit is still going strong but the sanding head had worn away rendering it useless with no way of attaching the sanding pads. I looked around at the time for a replacement but never came across one. I occasionally got it out to use on fiddly stuff because I still could use the louvre attachment but that being what it is , you can't get into small areas and can't apply much pressure.I never could bring myself to bin it though and it sat in the garage for years with those sporadic uses between other sander motors burning out or in the case of a certain rodent competitor, disintigrating half way through it's first panelled door!It was one day when another sander was on the lightning deals on Amazon and I looked at it, that I saw at the bottom of the page, replacement bits for said sander and a little light bulb clicked on in my head....15 minutes later I'd found this, confirmed as far as possible that it was the correct part and got it ordered!Fits perfect and my old sander is back to wiping the floor with any of it's successorsHappy customer indeed :-)

Can't fault the product however it turned up in a search for starlock backing pad .My mistake lesson learned

Been after this for a while, saw an excellent used one and thought why not it's so much cheaper.When it arrived it wasn't used, the packaging was just a bit worn, so I'm very happy

Old 1 broke after many years off use this fits perfect and saves a fortune buying new sander

Sent it back it didn't fit my multitool

I wasn’t sure, but it works as a replacement head for my 20+ Bosch B7000 sander. Bosch says part is obsolete, but this one works.
