Mattel Games Pictionary Air 2 Game

Played this with my teenage and college age kids and their friends! They actually said we will have to play again when other friends are over. There is a learning curve but it is something fun to do together! We used Apple TV with an iPad and then a phone for clues so everyone could see what we were drawing.

Such a fun game! Hours of laughter even if you aren't playing by the rules. We had fun with our 8 year old just trying to guess whatever they came up with and drew. Fun for all ages, as long as they can operate the pencil!

My kids were so excited to get this.

Fun family game!

My family loves Pictionary because it is a game that everyone can play, no matter what age. I heard about Pictionary Air and thought it would be a cool new way of playing our favorite game. Unfortunately, it just doesn't seem to capture the same type of magic of the original game. I used my iPhone as the primary device and an iPad as the secondary device, and I found that the tracking was a little hit-or-miss, as the lines drawn would at times not register properly. After a few rounds of this, the technical glitches and the difficulty of drawing in the air within the phone camera's line of sight just got really old really quick. We will be sticking with classic Pictionary.

We have played Pictionary for years and used an easel to draw on. So this version is basically just a technological improvement from our normal play. Viewing the drawings on a big screen TV was great! We all thought that drawing in the air would be tricky and take some time to get accustomed to – we were wrong. Folks did great after just one or two tries. If you love Pictionary, you are going to love this version.

I bought 1 of these pens back when it first came out and couldn't get it to do anything. I ended up buying a second 1 a couple years later and it continued to do this scribbling thing on its own. Then found out there's a #2 and thought... "🤔what the heck, maybe third times a charm" but NOPE! I even tried standing directly in front of a lamp but it still glitches and does that scribbling thing on its own😩

Verdict : l'expérience est bien plus fluide et le plaisir de jeu est démultiplié, surtout avec la possibilité de diffuser sur grand écran. ​Ce qui change la donne avec cette version 2 : ​Précision du stylo : Le stylo est plus réactif. On a moins ce décalage frustrant entre le mouvement de la main et l'apparition du trait à l'écran. Le bouton pour valider les traits est bien placé et réagit instantanément. ​L'application et le Score : L'interface a été simplifiée. On peut maintenant suivre les scores directement dans l'application, et les indices sont variés, ce qui permet de faire jouer aussi bien des enfants que des adultes sans que ce soit trop difficile. ​Diffusion sur TV : C'est là que le jeu prend toute sa dimension. En castant l'écran de son téléphone ou de sa tablette sur la télé, tout le monde voit le dessin prendre forme dans les airs autour du dessinateur. Les fous rires sont garantis ! ​Contenu numérique : Plus besoin de manipuler des tonnes de cartes papier qui s'abîment. Tout est intégré, ce qui rend le jeu beaucoup plus nomade. ​Mes conseils pour une partie réussie : ​L'éclairage : C'est le point crucial. Évitez d'avoir une fenêtre lumineuse ou une lampe forte directement derrière vous, car cela peut perturber la caméra qui suit la lumière du stylo. ​Le support : Posez la tablette ou le téléphone sur un support stable si vous ne diffusez pas sur TV, pour que la caméra reste bien fixe. ​Points forts : ✅ Ludique et très moderne, on ne s'en lasse pas. ✅ Application gratuite et bien conçue. ✅ Idéal pour animer des soirées entre amis ou en famille. ​Verdict : Une mise à jour réussie qui corrige les petits défauts de jeunesse du premier opus. C'est un jeu qui rassemble toutes les générations autour d'une technologie bluffante.

Dei de presente para dois sobrinhos e foi a diversão garantida das festas de Natal. Desde que a pessoa tenha dois celulares e uma tv para acessar o jogo, é fácil de jogar e muito engraçado! Recomendo!

It came but it it is in French. Which I can't speak or read. I expected for it to be English. Pros are the battery's were already included and didn't have to be assembled by me. I tested it out and the pen is accurate and was very fun to play on my birthday with friends. We s*ck at drawing haha🎂 🥳 Cons: in french, a bit thick, harper to hold.

Great fun. The new app is good too.
