I'm really enjoying this serum and feel like it's helping my skin feel firmer and brighter. I like the aloe-ish scent a lot (although it's not noticeable at all once this sets, which is pretty quickly), but I love the active ingredients list that's packed with great ingredients. I use it under my facial cream and makeup in the AM with no effect on my makeup. This was my first time trying the Allies of Skin skincare line and I'm impressed.

I LOVE this product. My skin feels so smooth and hydrated after use in the evening. My skin is glowing. I highly recommend this product, especially for those with sensitive skin.

Works fine for me as I haven't experienced or had any issues with this and seems to be working fine. Others experiences may vary as with anything like this.

This isn’t sticky or greasy and absorbs well.It didn’t work for me, I have Rosacea and my skin is super sensitive but this states that it’s for all skin types to include sensitive skin. It’s not for my skin and made my face breakout.It smells strange and it’s unpleasant.Although it may not work for me, it may work for you.

This product has a lot of great ingredients. Niacinamide is one of my favorites, and I find that it really improves the look of my skin and lightens my dark spots when used regularly. This has a lot of additional skin soothing and brightening ingredients like a blend of reishi and shitake mushrooms, alpha arbutin and tranexamic acid. The most noticeable for me is the mushroom, because the product has a mushroom tan color and earthy smell. I appreciate that it is alcohol and fragrance free.The directions on the bottle says to cleanse first and always finish with sunscreen. However, I also use a moisturizer after a serum and before sunscreen, and the Allies of Skin website also recommends following with your favorite moisturizer.After a few days of use, I notice that my normal but "mature" skin feels softer when using this. It can take longer to see noticeable brightening benefits, so I am looking forward to seeing how this works longer term.I think this product is worth a try if you are dealing with dark spots, because it has a lot of effective ingredients.

Traxenomic Acid is an amino acid and is one of skincare’s buzziest new ingredients, due to its ability to brighten dark spots and hyperpigmentation. But there’s a lot more to this formula. It contains a nice mix of other brightening ingredients as well as antioxidants. The formula is silicone free which is something I look for (when there’s silicones, anything you layer on top doesn’t really absorb). It also plays REALLY well with other skincare. For instance, I use this during the day before applying my vitamin C and at night before my retinol. Not only does it not adversely interact with them, but the studies I read actually show that it enhances their effects. The formula has a light lotion consistency to it and has a bit of an herbal scent to it. It dissipates quickly. You’re supposed to shake the bottle before every use, though I don’t understand how this will affect what’s already in the pump. The instructions say you should use 2-4 pumps but 1 pump provides a lot of coverage for me. Also, initially the cap was really hard to remove. It was stuck to the pump. But once I separated the two, subsequent uses were fine. As far as effects, I can’t yet tell if there’s any magic happening. My dark spots may have mildly faded, but I can’t say for sure. I believe in the science behind the ingredients and I think any real effects take more time. I’ll continue using it to see how it performs over a longer period, especially because it works so well with my existing skincare routine. Also, I didn’t experience any irritation with this serum, and I think it would work well for those with sensitive skin.Edit: it’s been about two weeks that I’ve been using this day and night (one pump each time) and my skin has developed an incredible glow to it. My pores have also shrunk significantly. My advice is to not give up if you don’t see results right away. Give it at least two weeks of twice daily use and see if it works for you as well as it’s worked for me!
