Our Mantle Piece Clock stopped, mechanism failure, my wife loves the clock. So I looked up replacement mechanism on Amazon. Had to give it a try, purchased and installed this, it works great and keeps good time. Suggest when installing you set the hands at directly on the hour (minute hand on 12 and hour hand on 4) check it's working and then adjust to correct time after. Very quiet, no ticking sound. Check shaft sizes when ordering, to get the correct fit.

Easy to install in a noisy clock. Keeps time and I get to have my lovely clock without the ticking. There is still a slight sound but it is barely noticeable and my autistic daughter has stopped removing the battery - I’d say it’s a win!
