I've been using Hero Retinol for over a year. I'm 42 now and still have very few wrinkles (YAY, a good skin care routine). Hero Retinol is perfect for those just getting into retinol. At first, I was worried my skin would have a reaction but there was none. Very gentle on the skin while providing the retinol benefits for newbies. I've since started using slightly higher dose of retinol from another brand but feel that Hero gave much better results even at .75%. My skin texture improved and my skin was bouncier with Hero. Only wish they would produce a higher percentage retinol. Amazing for the price and quality! Don't sleep on this gem of a product!

Ever since I turned 35 my skin has decided that it is sensitive and I love that this formula is nourishing and has great antioxidants in addition to encapsulated retinol.

This was recommended to me by Dermatologist. He said "if my facial skin could handle this product first, then he would start me on Rx Retinol". Product is used at night and first few nights made my skin tingle and itch a little. No redness. Appears very moisturizing and makes skin shiny but I'm asleep. Morning appears all absorbed into skin. You can also use with your regular nighttime routine. I like the way the tube pump works and has lasted a long time. So far over 4 weeks. I am fair complected and 68 years old. UPDATE: it did make my face feel smoother, but no real change in appearance so far.

I cannot even explain how much I love this retinol! I am on my third bottle, and even have my boyfriend and friends starting it. It has more healing ingredients added into it, which really reduces any purging/irritation from starting/changing retinols. It helps reduce my redness and evens out my skin tone. It has the feel of a moisturizer, and I especially love this packaging as one pump is the perfect amount for both your face and neck!

My skin doesn't handle retinol well, but I decided to give this a try based on the reviews. I am sincerely amazed.I have been using it nightly for a full week, and I have had no negative side events. The formula is hydrating, yet effective. I have noticed no peeling or dry patches. No stinging or burning. No breakouts. I had some stubborn skin blemishes that I have been unable to kick for months with salicylic acid, and it all cleared up in a matter of 3 nights.I still use the same face wash, serum, and daytime sunscreen as usual. This is the only thing I have changed, and it has been notably beneficial in just a short span of time. I'm excited to see what long term use will accomplish.
