Like many, we bought the CAME TV Kumunik8 headsets because we need on-set communications for our crews during productions. I've worked on plenty of big sets over the years and really like products like the Clear Coms. I was on a recent production that utilized the Clear Com four channel units and really loved using them. We looked the units I used up on-line though and they are $27,000 for a package with five sets. In other words, the price range for rental companies, but to own them, they were way, way out of our budget range.We also own a set of EarTecs, which are more in this price range, and while functionally they are good, they are much lighter in weight and construction than these Kumunik8s and we have found that the mic booms break almost weekly. We've become pretty adept at tearing them apart to fix the broken booms, but it's still a time consuming pain. So we purchased a set of five of the Kumunik8 single sided headsets. They are definitely built more robustly than the EarTecs and the sound and noise suppression is better too, they have more gain, which is important if you are going to use these in noisy environments as we often do.Last week, during a gig, our main camera op accidentally lifted the headphone off of his head utilizing the mic boom, instead of the ear cup, which broke off at its mount. We purchased this set in April so we were under warranty so I contacted the CAME TV Americas office to see how I could obtain repair. The manager offered to send us a replacement headset, which arrived, from China, two days later so that we would have a complete working set for our next gig which took place a day after the replacement arrived. I don't think the headset was defective, the cam op removed the headphone from his head utilizing the mic boom which is NOT the right way to remove any headset.We were so happy with CAME TVs responsiveness and service that we just ordered another set of four and the HUB so we will now have nine headsets for when we have larger crews. The headsets are well made, comfortable and sound good, the batteries last all day. The noise rejection is good too. I have been very happy with my experience with CAME TV products, I also own four 99Wh CAME TV V Mount batteries and we have the CAME TV V mount battery plate and top plate for our FX6.Most of the other Chinese products we own that have broken or needed service end up being disposable if they are outside of warranty, Zhiyun, DJI, Aputure, Godox all make fine products but if you have an issue after the sales, the response can range from none to a cursory, trying to help you obtain parts, service, etc. but no other Chinese company I have ever dealt with has been ass supportive and helpful after the sale. Based on this experience, I am very impressed with CAME TV and their customer support, which is literally as important, if not more important than the features of the product itself.I will be buying more CAME TV products in the future.

We love these headsets for use by backstage/audio/lighting crew in our community theater. Compared to previous walkie-talkies, our crew likes the hands-free, and the easy mute by pushing the boom up, and the sound quality. Customer service was fast and excellent (above and beyond!) when we contacted the manufacturer through the CAME-TV website at [email protected], after we accidentally damaged the battery contacts. It's important to insert the contact end of the battery first, to avoid smashing the contacts; but they are flexible enough to tolerate being carefully bent back into shape. We added a tape "handle" as a reminder, and to pick up batteries more easily. Comfort and build quality are very good, and they have been durable. Spare batteries NB-6LH are inexpensive and readily available, and battery life is very good.

I purchased this headset for my live video production team. When I tell you these headsets came in clutch is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!!! The quality, ease of setup, well assembled,durable and excellent range are MAJOR pluses. I expanded my team and now I purchasing 2 more headsets and the hub because I'm up to 7 sets. I bought the hub from them directly because the shipping through Amazon wasn't going to meet my deadline for the next event. Customer service contacted me to make sure I was purchasing the correct version for my needs and upon explaining what I needed they went ABOVE and BEYOND(Thank You Andy Lee(Mrs)). This product is GREAT and the Customer Service is GREATER!!! They have earn my gratitude, thanks and support and every friend and peer I have in production is getting this recommendation.

I had an amazing experience with company, when one headset had an issue, the company immediately replaced the defective headset without any issues. They were easy to communicate with and sent replacements ASAP…good company to work with

These are the best sounding wireless headset microphones I have ever used. The noise canceling microphones work great in a corporate low noise situation. I bought the five headset unit and was very happy with the ease of use. The only drawback at all was the non-ear pad sits a little too low and is a bit uncomfortable to wear all day.

I bought the 5 pack in July 2025 and it is now September 2025 at the time of writing this review. I bought these as coms for drone light show coms in the field so our pilot in command can hear the crew over fireworks that were going off during our drone show. The set initially was a great solution for us, however, after only a month, one of the boom mic's broke off inside the headset. (Now we are down to 4 headsets.) during last week's show, we pulled them out to use them and not only was the master headset battery connection bent making the entire set useless, but a second headset had bent battery contacts as well making that one doubly useless.With fragile components used to make these, I will definitely be looking else where for replacements. They aren't build for the rigors of "on-the-road" production abuse.

Has good coverage and sound. Better than what we expected.

These are a game changer! Even when backing up a large 5th wheel or talking someone into a parking spot! They are simply amazing to use!
