Good value and versatile.
This thing is an insane value. I've had it forever and it works like a workhorse. I love being able to make a big pot when I have company, or just one cup when it's just me.

Great, versatile coffeemaker
I bought this coffeemaker to replace the exact same one I’ve had for years. I looked at other coffee makers, but none had the versatility of this one. You can make a pot in the morning and have a single cup later in the day. I like adding the water to the machine before each use instead of having it just sit there in a reservoir. In the single serve area, you can use ready-made K cups, or you can use your own ground coffee in the special container that is included. You can fill a mug or even a travel cup. My only complaint was that the coffee maker I received did not come with the reusable coffee filter that was shown in the picture.

Great Coffee Maker
Absolutely love this! Perfectly brewed coffee every time Single cup takes a minute or two but it’s worth the wait. Carafe coffee auto turns off after 2 hours which is fine. Love this coffee maker!!

Good all round coffee maker with the flexibility to do a carafe or a cup
This is the second version of this coffee maker that we've bought - the first one hung in there for a good many years but the carafe water area top cover hinge broke so the cover flopped around and overall, the unit was looking pretty beat. They dressed this model up a little with some chrome trim around the base and some stainless in the area of the single cup brew. The chrome trim around the base was coming unstuck - the adhesive that they used to attach it wasn't holding the trim onto the base. I had to re-glue the trim to the base.Other than that, great features for a basic coffee maker, the ability to make a full carafe or a single cup. Makes a decent brew but nothing fancy...

Like the K cup dispenser
I needed a new pot. I like having the option of brewing a whole pot or just using the pods for single cups. Works well. Would buy again.

Why I Stuck With FlexBrew
***Preliminary** First cups down this morning on carafe side. This is my third Hamilton Beach FlexBrew. That in itself may sound negative, but each of the first two lasted approximately 10 years each. In the age of 'modern electronics' of this nature is probably pretty good. This new version seemed to already address a couple of minor changes I might have liked with the old units. This model is more convenient, more sleek, and eliminated a couple of flaws--ease in cleaning, programming clarity, and eliminates the problematic switching between carafe and Kcup mode. The switch out of the Kcup and ground coffee pods on the Kcup side is easier. It has a convenient self storage area for the Kcup grounds pod. I have yet to brew a Kcup. Eliminating the 'selector switch' is eliminated due to the dual water reservoirs. The display is brighter and much improved. Some elements are the same, or almost identical--carafe and brew basket. I know it's early, and still have to become more familiar with both Kcup and Kcup grounds side, all of which I use, depending on my situation. I no longer travel, normally brew a few cups, but occasionally wish to only brew a singe Kcup (flavored or cocoa etc.) which suits my needs. I still have to pull unit from under cabinet to fill water, but I'm used to that...this enables me to more accurately pour the water without spilling. My initial impression (n=1 pot) is very good. I will update with any meaningful changes or additons to this review.

For all of us
This is my second coffee maker. I love it that much. I have an individual area for one cup. And the 12cup coffee maker for my company to have coffee as well, when needed. I used the other one so much I simply wore it out. Gave me good service all the years I used it.

Crapped out on us
I have had this for 16 months now. I would give it 5 until today. The single serve no lovers worries. I've tried everything too! Now I'm stuck with a huge machine that only brews pots. I might pitch it. Counter space is in high demand in this house..
