Lovely pen but…
The pen is really nice, with a grip to assist young hands. It appears to sturdy and has a place to put the child’s name, which is good for use in schools.The downside is for Amazon and not Pelikan. Why such a big box? It states on the packaging that Amazon is aware of its environmental duty. There was no extra protection by putting in such a big package. I’ve had my own more expensive pens delivered by different companies in much smaller packages.

My son's first fountain pen and he loves it! Easy to hold and write with. Great purchase.

Great pen
My daughter adored this as soon as she used it and also loved the colour. It has leaked a few times but I guess you get that with all ink pens. Cartridges a little expensive though

Great first fountain pen for kids
Really easy to hold, with indentations for fingers and thumbs so you have a proper, comfortable grip. Standard cartridge size, so you can no problems with getting cartridges that fit.

Brilliant Pen - Shame about the lid
I'm a left handed adult and love these pens and have had many over the past few years. The ink flow is great and it doesn't scratch on any type of paper and it's comfortable to handle for long writing episodes. The reason why I've had many over the years is that the lid cracks very easily. I've just started using a new one and the lid only lasted a few days.
