Recently visited the dentist after experiencing some toothache when consuming cold drinks or food. Expecting to be told that it was due to cavity decay, loose filing or the like - but instead, after x-rays were taken, I was told there was nothing visibly wrong with the tooth. My dentist proceeds to tell me that I should experiment and try some Sensodyne toothpaste for a few days before going further in examining the tooth, as it could be just the thinning down of the tooth enamel after so many years (I think that was a dentist's way of telling me I'm old!) Was also told to rub in a small dab of toothpaste directly onto the tooth in question after brushing to alleviate the pain. I had never tried Sensodyne before and was skeptic to say the least --- but I have to say it worked. Instantly, no more pain!!! And I do mean it was almost instant relief!! And before anybody says anything - I don't know anyone called Placebo. So, my only question is, if this toothpaste is so good and effective - which for me, it has been, why aren't we told to use this ALL the time from a younger age???? Why even have any other type of toothpaste? Well, I'm too lazy to look up why, or research if there's some dodgy ingredient in this toothpaste that other toothpaste's don't have. So, until someone tells me not to use it constantly because it'll make yer teeth fall out or give you some other side-effects... or make you go do-lally and write up Amazon reviews when you're bored... I'm sold on this toothpaste! And... seeing that our local supermarket is selling these for £5 a pop, the Amazon price is great value.

Teeth feel clean and the taste is good. The texture isn’t gritty which is nice

I’ve been using Sensodyne for a while now and honestly, it’s the only toothpaste that actually helps with my sensitive teeth. I used to get sharp pain when drinking cold water or eating ice cream, but since switching to this, that’s pretty much gone. It still gives that fresh, clean feeling after brushing, and it doesn’t have that overpowering minty burn that some other brands do. My teeth feel clean, my mouth feels fresh, and the sensitivity relief is a big bonus. Pros: • Actually works for sensitivity • Gentle but effective • Fresh taste without being too strong • Widely available Cons: • A bit pricier than regular toothpaste, but worth it for the results I keep coming back to Sensodyne because nothing else works quite the same. Definitely recommend if you’ve got sensitive teeth!

Worked straight away to remove any pain from sensitive teeth when and after brushing my teeth. I tried another brand (Probably the most popular) before this. I didn't give it much time but I wasn't happy with the results. I switched to Sensodyne Sensitive Repair & Protect Toothpaste after a couple of weeks and it solved my problem straight way.

I have not used Sensodyne in a long time because every time I looked at them, each paste had Sorbitol as an ingredient, No Sorbitol in this one! I have now been using this for the last 5 months and no more sensitive teeth.... at last!
