Love the look and size of this arc lamp. The oatmeal colored lamp shade is perfect with our decor and a great feature is that the arc is adjustable. I looked at many arc lamps where the arc wasn’t adjustable and I was concerned that it would extend too far into our space and that I would walk into it. The base is a heavy black marble is is very sturdy. The lamp was fairly easy to assemble, as was the lampshade. It was packaged well and arrived without any damage. Very happy with the price and look of this lamp.

Update: nearly two years later and this lamp continues to be fantastic! We have a 60lb American Bully that regularly gets the zoomies, tearing around the living room, disrupting *everything*, but this lamp just stays standing, even with direct hits. We did replace the lampshade, but only to match our decor, there was nothing wrong with it It also still looks great and works flawlessly. One of our all-time favorite purchases! Original review: I was concerned about this lamp given the relatively low price point, but this thing is *fantastic*. It's very heavy (in a good way) and solidly built. The marble base is big, round, heavy, and stable. The lampshade takes a bit of assembly but nothing too difficult, and its layered structure is very interesting. We put a smart bulb in it that connects to Smart Things/Google so we can control it. It sits behind the corner of our sectional and we can swing it to the right, left, and middle (or anywhere in between) as needed. We just set it up so I can't report on long term use but given the quality of construction and materials I'm very optimistic. Highly recommended.

I spent a long time searching for the best arched floor lamp, and this is truly the best one I found on Amazon. I did see other great options at brand-name stores, but they were way too expensive. I wanted something at a reasonable price without compromising on quality or elegance—and this lamp delivered exactly that. The reviews confirmed what I was hoping: this is the perfect piece I had been looking for. While nickel finishes are common across many brands, this one stood out because it offers a bronze color option, which I couldn’t find elsewhere. Black felt too modern for my home, but the bronze gives such a warm and inviting vibe. It’s sturdy and has a solid, safe feel. The shade doesn’t look cheap at all—it adds to the overall classy look. If I could I would have 3.5 stars overall because of a glitch in my help desk experience. My wife likes to use a floor lamp for extra lighting to knit while sitting on the couch, and it was time to replace our old lamp that I was never fond of. After searching for styles and function we we settled on this lamp from Brightech (BT). We also like to support small business and this filled that interest as well. Additionally, BT has earned many strong ratings on Amazon which supported our purchase decision. We bought this lamp as a "used-like new" item from Amazon. We have to date been satisfied with the cost-value of several purchases this way. Our only disappointment about this purchase is we received it with missing washers for assembly; complicating that, the assembly instructions were unclear about whether there is only one washer or two washers needed. The confusion is in the enclosed assembly instructions: There is a specific illustration clearly showing to install a washer on the underside of the floor base, and that washer is included in the parts list - albeit without size specs that some furniture instructions include. There is another illustration that suggests that a second washer is to be placed on the top of the floor base, but it is not clearly enlarged or highlighted as was the other and it is not included in the parts list. But I figured the fix should be a pretty simple. I was willing to spend a couple bucks to pick up a washer or two at a local hardware store - my reasoning is a couple missing washers is not reason enough to repack the whole thing for a return, and me picking up basic washer(s) would be a quicker fix rather than wait for someone to send me the washers. But I first needed to verify if a second washer was needed, its size and that of the listed washer. I found reaching out to BT to be less helpful than I expected based on the plethora of good reviews. As a small company they only provide email-based assistance. Responses to most of my messages were same day (west coast location and I am midwest), but incomplete. It took a few days of email exchanges to get one answer at a time on separate days. Assistance was further delayed by the BT help desk requesting my Amazon order number and subsequently saying they could not provide warranty support (which would only be answering my 2 questions) because they could not confirm my order number and they incorrectly presumed this lamp was probably sourced by a third party and shipped by Amazon. Eventually the BT help desk gave me the size for the bottom washer of the floor base. And after I inquired yet again the next day I got a message that they had updated the assembly process to now use a washer on the top of the base. Make no mistake, this product is attractive, functional and seems quite good overall making it a good value. I suspect the information delay challenge I had with their help desk may be a blip of occasional human error.

We ordered a new console sofa and had to change out an end table and lap for a floor lamp. I've had my eye on this one for a bit and finally ordered. Man, I am so glad I did! The shade snapped easily together with some very aggressive (in a good way) clips. The bulb included with the lamp puts off plenty of light for reading, and it was very easy to assemble. I did need my hubby's help to tilt up and hold the heavy marble base while I attached the pole to it. Speaking of the marble base is thick, heavy, and wide enough to prevent the lamp from tipping over. And the brushed nickel pole is beautiful and adjusts easily. The foot switch is made of plastic, which is fine, as long as you don't stomp on it. This was a gift I sent to a family member. It is just what asked for. Perfect is the repeated phrase. Loves the foot button to turn on,heavy base!! I finally picked a perfect birthday gift.

We are very impressed with the light. The pkg came with a very weak lightbulb. Would strongly suggest upgrading it. Other than that it’s a great investment.
