ISS Vanguard Board Game - Explore Space in a Cooperative Sci-Fi Strategy Game, Thrilling Adventure for Kids & Adults, Ages 14+,1-4 Players, 90-120 Minute Playtime

An amazing game that takes you in a travel through space. I just played a couple of sections and there were all different from each other and the story is really interesting and got me hooked on it.

I really love this game it's on the table right now it's a really good good game it's one of my top 10 best games it's great I really like it I hope they come out with more expansions but it's great I recommend this game to anybody no matter what the price is it's great

If you are a serious tabletop or board gamer, and you need a break from high fantasy like I did, this is the breath of fresh air you are looking for. ISS Vanguard is beautifully designed (I can't say enough about how much I love the flow of gameplay, especially during the Ship Phase), massive in scale (physically and gameplay-wise), and extremely fun to play. I played through the campaign solo, and cannot wait to play through it with others now. There are some elements that feel best suited for solo play, but other aspects that feel like they would be more enjoyable and interesting in a group. Either way, you can't go wrong.Like many cooperative long-campaign games, it takes some time and reading to get the rules locked in, and it is designed to be very challenging and punishing at times, but very rewarding as you progress. 100% recommend!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The game is great but starts to get ver overwhelming at certain point. Be ready to read and listen to thousands of texts and dialogs. I also got the expansion with some more miniatures but even with that I wasn't able to finish the entire game before everyone falls asleep.

This game is truly outstanding and immersive. The artwork and components add to the quality of the branching story line. There is an app with terrific voice actors and sound effects that bring the narrations to life. The way you can build your crew, how they are used, and the choices you make each mission make this an experience you’ll never forget.I’ve played the entire campaign solo, four characters. I have the Kickstarter edition, Personnel files, and Pets; I highly recommend them if you can get them.

This is a time-sucking campaign game with many, many add-ons. It is not for somebody who can't sit still for more than 30-45 minutes. Each campaign takes upwards of 2 hours, not including your first crack at it (the tutorial is highly recommended). If you enjoy organization, thinking through scenarios, and co-operative game play, this is for you. You do not need to be a serious gamer, but you do need to have a lot of patience, stamina, and a sense of humor. As someone who mostly plays MMORPGs, but does have a background in legacy games, this is not unfamiliar territory to me. It is similar in structure to Gloomhaven without the competitiveness. If you've got the time and the inkling, I recommend it.

Title. Game is a really fun, long campaign with simple mechanics that are quick and easy to learn, despite the size of the rulebook!However, there were some broken minatures in the box, which is somewhat damaged, lookibg like it got dropped at some point. Nothing some glue can't fix and I'm not worried about superficial external box damage, but this shouldn't have been an issue in the first place.Overall, very pleased with this game, despite the issue.
