I bought these and inserted a few into one face of my house to allow me to construct a good support system for a climbing rose. They are working well so far and I think have made for a more secure fixture than just screws would have done for attaching wire and garden twine to. I used the small yellow Rawl plugs and these fitted inside well and haven't come out.They did come in the size exactly as described and as I ordered but somehow they seemed smaller than I had hoped for. I think I was expecting more of the shank to be threaded than it was. So my advice to you might be to opt for the size up from the ones you thought you wanted to give them a little more stability and resistance to pull-out.

We’ll everyone else seems to be happy with these but maybe I got a bad batch or something because I tried two, and both snapped when driven into a wooden fence post.This is with hand tools, not a great deal of force (slightly awkward angle) and into a wooden fence post that has other screw eyes already installed. This really shouldn’t happen.(Amazon did refund me immediately.)

Used with plastic coated wire to train my climbing plant on 2 of my garden fences.There are more than enough in the pack, and zinc plated so have a rust resistant coating.So no rusty screws on fences, provided the coating is in tact.Great price which includes delivery, with a fast delivery partly explains why I now shop mainly online for DIY these days.

Now on my fourth pack of the eyelets. They're simply superb and a steal at the price. If these eyelets are the size you require - buy them. I doubt you'll find better. 11 out of 10.
