Canon pixma replacement printer cartridge
I have seen the suitable alternative offerings of these original replacement cartridges elsewhere and though I once used an alternative black cartridge with my old brother printer when, at the time I couldn’t get the original cartridge as quickly as needed so it was ok but I think personally I would prefer to buy the original cartridges as the print quality remains constant. The cartridge recommended changing every 6 months but as I am a light user they didn’t need replacing for over a year. Snapshot show’s quality of print using replacement cartridges and as you can see from the other snapshot my time at replacing the set of cartridges was a simple process as the snapshot shows they are easy to unpack, quickly click out the existing cartridges, slot in the new ones and click in new ones. There is an app that keeps me apprised of ink levels with an option to order directly but I chose to buy them on Amazon when I replaced the brother printer with the canon one so they would be at hand when needed.A reviewer noted the packaging used a lot of plastic but I think ink cartridges needed to be well wrapped in case they get damaged in transit to lessen and reduce fences of environmental harm. Additionally, I would slip argue that the original cartridges may be more costly than the cheaper alternatives but I noticed the cartridges packaging uses 70% recycled materials and when used the plastic can be disposed of by being sent in to recycling.Like I said the printing using the replacement cartridges as shown in snapshot was a document sent to printer upon replacement of cartridges without any need to align or send a test page first and the quality is pretty decent.

Good but expensive.
Really good Canon product but hideously expensive, my printer costs more than my car to run. Some colours run out before others (obviously) and you end up after a few months with a lot of unused photo blacks (I have 13 now!!!) but individual colours are even more expensive and not available through Prime. Last time I tried to order Amazon appear to have stopped selling these so I went for a cheaper alternative which is just as good and nearly half price. It is also chipped so my printer (TR7550) reads new ones as if they are Canon. Try cheaper ones with five star ratings instead.

Very expensive
This set of five replacement inks for my new Canon printer still didn't have all the inks I needed - cartridge PB (photoblue) is not included in this selection but used by my printer. My printer came with set up ink cartridges which don't last long. The price of a full set of replacement cartridges was nearly half the price of the printer (which admittedly I got at a sale price). If these inks were the volume of a bottle of champagne it would be about £800! I don't know if I'll stick to Canon inks or go for independent inks in the future. My past experience (with an older Canon printer) was that print quality, particularly photos, wasn't as good with the independent inks.
