The sound and acoustics are great for small room

I got these and was hoping for simply adequate speakers! Oh Boy :D I was thoroughly impressed! The sound quality is amazing, the volume control is independent from the PC, as such you can have 100% on PC and then increase that from the speakers! I am usually at 20% volume on the PC and the speakers/sound quality are SO GOOD! I usually turn on the speakers via remote control! I also have both optical and RCA cables plugged in. If I have a critique, it would be the power button being the same as the channel button! i got confused at first on how to use it but I think that is down to my inexperience! Finally, I read somewhere that the bluetooth function or/and remote dies fast! I am not sure about it! but I also read that the company's support team is great! P.S: before buying these I bought JBL Quantum Duo speakers which turned out to be a steaming pile of software garbage! the audio was great but the speakers kept disconnecting for no apparent reason and nothing seemed to work (software update, turning off usb power saver...) and also the audio sounded great but not so strong! These edifier speakers were exactly what I was looking for! Beautiful design, plug and play and great sound quality!

Ho acquistato le casse durante il black Friday, dopo una lunga ricerca tra quelle disponibili allo stesso range di prezzo scontato (Vulkkano, Yamaha, M-Audio, Denon, JBL, Marley). Come premessa doverosa e generale, ritengo che le casse vadano ricercate con attenzione, basandosi sul reale e obiettivo utilizzo che devono soddisfare. Ho letto alcune recensioni prima di decidere l'acquisto, in cui le casse vengono criticate per la qualità non HI-FI, toni bassi o medi assenti, ecc... insomma deludenti, come se le aspettative fossero di utilizzarle come alternative a casse HI-FI da migliaia di euro, pilotate da sistemi altrettanto sofisticati in studio professionale. Queste casse non sono quel prodotto, e non ha senso giudicarle con parametri normalmente impiegati in campo HI-FI. Le casse sono molto compatte, per me perfette per essere posizionate a lato del monitor del PC, di una TV o di un giradischi in un ambiente medio-piccolo, ed essendo attive permettono di ascoltare buona musica ricca di dettagli in un contesto casalingo "normale". Sono dotate di molte connessioni che permettono di utilizzarle in diversi modi, c'è anche l'uscita SUB, cosa molto utile se si ha la possibilità di abbinare un subwoofer. Io le ho collegate al PC (Input 1), ad un Audio Player Fiio (input 2) e al cellulare (via Bluetooth). I materiali sono di buona qualità ed esteticamente le casse sono molto curate, sia con l'elegante retina anteriore che senza, con effetto più tecnico. Ora qualche dettaglio sulla qualità del suono: Avendole da soli tre giorni, la primissima impressione che ho avuto, appena accese, è quella che ho letto in diverse recensioni...Bassi limitati, frequenze medie molto limitate, suono piuttosto direzionale...uhm... Ma prima di considerare di rimandarle indietro, ho pensato di aspettare qualche giorno e iniziare il DOVEROSO rodaggio. Ho riposizionato le casse rialzandole circa 15 cm dal piano scrivania, in modo che l'emissione sonora del woofer fosse in asse con la zona di ascolto, e già il suono è migliorato; poi ho acceso l'audio player, ho preparato una lista di canzoni mp3/flac di tutti i generi (Classica, rock, metal, country, rap, pop, R&B, funk, disco, popolare, ska, lirica, jazz...insomma di tutto), ho impostato il volume medio per evitare problemi con i vicini, ho fatto partire la musica, chiuso la porta e lasciato andare per ore e ore, così per un paio di giorni. Diciamo che è ancora presto per trarre conclusioni, in quanto le casse devono rodare ancora qualche giorno, ma già ieri sera il suono è decisamente migliorato, le medie frequenze sono molto più presenti e anche i "bassi" sono più precisi, meno rimbombanti. Ho effettuato anche alcune prove con l'equalizzazione e sono convinto che troverò la condizione sonora ottimale. Per il prezzo pagato sono molto soddisfatto, mi aspetto ancora piccoli miglioramenti nei prossimi giorni, ma già così le ritengo un ottimo acquisto.
