Update: previously had leaking problems at the spigot. Turns out you need to make sure you have the seals oriented in the right direction, the washer oriented in the right direction, screw if on really tightly, and screw it on in dry conditions. Now it doesn’t leak and I’m happy with the product.As other reviewers said, the filter is great. Tap water has 200 ppm, filter reduces it to below 6 ppm. Performs better than brita (in the UK), which reduces tap water to around 150 ppm.But the dispenser leaks at the spigot. Horrible design. Also, the area where the filter connects to the water reservoir is not water tight so unfiltered water can leak through. Not a big deal, just a few drops. The biggest problem is the leaky spigot.

What drama this filter has been!! After set up the TDS reading was 025 - not the promised 000 water and although this was still a million times better quality than the tap water AND my old filter water i had been drinking , i realised that there were tiny drops coming from the top of the filter which was not being filtered. I tried to tighten but this made no difference. I also saw that there were leaks coming from the washer tap connection and looking at other reviews many people had had the same problem as me. Thought i had got a bad one or maybe just a design flaw and so started a return /refund process. Spoke to a friend who had recently bought 1 and also had problem with leaks and she said she got her big strong hubby to tighten washer connection and filter and it worked. So i had another go - got my strong lad involved and hey presto - no leaks anywhere and the TDS reading is zero!!! Bliss! The water quality is fantastic best i've ever had with a filter - so definitely worth it. I would say that even when the TDS reading was 025 the quality was great so i may disregard the advice to change the filter when it goes higher than 006 - just to get more life out of it. All in all well worth purchasing. Water is crucial to good health and our tap water is full of hidden nasties.

Do not buy, you will be spending £100 every two-three months on filters. What they don't tell you is the UK water is much harder than this is made for, meaning you will be able to use one filter every 9 days (company quote not mine). The water is brilliant for the first few days, and then stinks of fish after one-two weeks, which even though the reading is still 000 (they say change filter at 006 or higher) is way quicker than they lead you to believe, atrocious. The smell and taste will make you wretch. To make things worse, the company wont return the product despite months of speaking to them, albeit when we first complained of the fish smell, they didn't even ask for our order or details instead just sent out an extra filter. This filter turned up with water drops inside the packaging which makes me think they are just recycling their products to cut margins and appease customers for a few weeks. Really gutted to be writing this as for a few days it was great!

It does what it says - zero TDS. Works brilliantly. Overpriced for the glass container. Sometimes there is a bit of a leak around the filter - even when instructions have been followed to the T.The recommended filter change at 006 TDs is an overkill in my opinion. Can really push it to 50 or even 100.The water really tastes great. Mineral or mountain water is left way behind.

The media could not be loaded. The purest water ever. A little bit sweet, it's crisp. (I even started to wash my face with it.) The coffee tastes better. Huge difference. And finally I can stop buying plastic bottle water. What was a shock for me that the tester showed a higher number in the mineral water then in the tap water. So for me there is no going back. Here is an update after using it for more then 2 months: I still didn't have to change the filter. It is still zero. What I do : sometimes I let the filtered water go down, very low so it wouldn't touch the filter. I also move the lid a bit. I let the filter to dry out. Maybe that's why I still didn't have to change it. And I use a lots of water.

Typically went down in price (discounted) days after I bought mine but no complaints, I love it. Big item, pleanty of tap pressure if kept topped up making it easy and convenient to use. Knowing my water is zero parts per million gives me daily peace of mind (compared with approximatey 175ppm for Brita and about 240ppm for Brita copies).

I bought this for my.mother who really enjoyed the water she had from this filter that was at my brothers house. We received it in good condition but it came without the filter and without the water tester stick. Bit disappointed and don't know how to get in touch about this
