Too small for my 7 year old, but she's obsessed anyway. Its pretty cheaply made, just a cut piece of printed fabric with elastic, but its a kid toy and serves its purpose fine. Nice bright colors. Elastic at shoulder and wrist (well, elbow for my kid!). Folds up very tiny for transport. Hope i don't have to wash it as i suspect the colors will run and fabric shred, but it should make it through until she has moved on to a new obsession! Worth the money if your kid will outgrow it in a year or 2, but for prolonged use, like keeping this in a classroom or daycare, i would invest in higher quality.

So my son (almost 5 years old, in 2 weeks!) was very excited to be an owl for a Halloween party at our local bird rescue organization. Everyone loved it, he won a prize, he was very proud of his special costume in the theme of party, and he loves birds! I did try to stretch the elastic band of the mask to keep it from squeezing his nose but it didn’t help. So then I cut it and used a large safety pin in the back to give it another 2”, still not comfy and the inside of the eyes/nose are hard/not soft at all, with almost a scratchy sharpness to the cut of the felt as well, so he just ended up wearing it on his forehead. The idea worked fine and got the point across but it would have been better if the mask could be worn as a mask, reasonably comfortably! Overall a cute little simple costume/pretend play item.

I purchased this for my son’s book week at school. It was wild animal day and this was perfect for all day wear. Very light and lasted all day so it seems to be durable. So far he only wore for this costume.
