Super good book
I've only read Metamorphosis currently, but it's really good. The pic has all the stories included in it + the Trial, and the Castle. There's also a good part about Kafka's life and the origins of the story, plus some other things that I enjoyed reading. One of my fav paperbacks, it's really nice٩(。•́‿•̀。)۶

Important reading
Transport your imagination into the abstract and absurd world of Kafka and his metaphor heavy prose.Essential reading for our troubled world.

Good for price
A little creased at the edges and the side was dented before I opened the parcel, but overall good shape

Great
Love it, having all his works in one place is really nice, and the price is so cheap, especially considering the quality of it

There's nothing cheap about this book, apart from the price
I bought this book for several reasons. It is a compendium of Franz Kafka's best known works:• The Trial• The Castle• Metamorphosis• In the Penal Colony• The Judgement• Letter to my Father• A Hybrid• A Message from the Emperor• On Metaphors• A Commentary• A Little FableThere are 614 pages, so plenty to read for an unbelievably low price.I was inspired to discover more about The Trial as I had been to a performance of the opera by Philip Glass which was based on this book. The plot was dark, serious, quirky, sexy and very funny.I was delighted to discover The Essential Kafka book because it also contained the short story - In the Penal Colony which was another opera by Glass. The book itself has an interesting and informative introduction written by John Williams, the translator. This provides some autobiographical background about Kafka and a brief discussion of the above works. There is also a list of 12 books by other authors which Williams recommends which includes George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four, so you are pointed in the direction of contemporary authors which could be helpful.I am not a literary boffin, so I won't be pretentious and attempt a book review. However, if you are looking for a source of Kafka's best well known works then I think you will be delighted with this book

Super
Unfortunately do not have pictures as it was a gift, however for the price it was pretty good. Only thing that concerned me was the state that it came in, the front page was a little ripped and the book looked broken into. If it is for self use it is a very affordable and good thick book - includes all the novels listed!
