Nice aroma that will last
I have to say that I am not convinced that aromatherapy has particular benefits to health. Nonetheless this oil containing lemon, eucalyptus, and juniper smells very pleasant and works well with standard cool, ultrasonic diffusers. I particularly like the lemon smell with this oil although some may find the overall scent perhaps a little antiseptic. The oil itself come in a light-resistant bottle which apparently protects the scent. You get 15ml and as the smell is quite intense this should last a long time. The product is also well packed. The manufacturer suggests that this is a breathe-easy blend. I'm not sure what that means - it doesn't make my breathing easier but then again I don't have a cold. This is a nice product overall worth four stars. One star dropped because it isn't cheap.

Lovely combination of quality oils.
I love this combination of lemon, eucalyptus and juniper. It has a clean and natural aroma and I find it very relaxing (and great for congested sinuses) when I use it in my diffuser. I often make up my own combinations of essential oils but had not tried this particular combination and I like it very much. Nice one Ellia.

Clean and outdoorsy aromatherpy for difussers.
A really light scented homedics essential oil, perfect for use with the homedics difussers or other ranges. Called Ellia, with the tag line Open Up (your senses). This is not an overpowering scent, but rather a lighter scent of lemon citrus with juniper and eucalyptus and hints of fir and rosemary. Gives a fresh scent to the air that smells clean and outdoorsy.

Lovely uplifting aroma from Homedics
Ellia Aromatherapy Essential Oil Mix for Aroma Diffusers, 15 ml - Open UpI use a lot of different aromatherapy oils, and this is a really lovely blend. The "Open Up" blend consists of lemon, eucalyptus, fir, juniper and rosemary oils that produce a lovely uplifting aroma. I use a few drops in my water diffuser, which has a candle underneath heating a small bowl of water into which the oil is dropped. It fills the room with a wonderful aroma. The oil also comes in a dark glass bottle, to preserve the volatile oils. Good quality product at a premium price. For sale at the time of writing this review at £11.45 (RRP £12.99).

Aroma oil
Reassuringly well presented and packaged, you believe this is a quality product. The name/variety on the front is 'Open up' which is why I was interested as have some chest problems and find candles exacerbate things. The oil contains, lemon, eucalyptus, fir, juniper and rosemary, and the properties, according to the pack, are 'clarifying, uplifting, purifying, woodsy'.I was using it in a burner where I three quarter filled the top and then added seven or so drops of oil. When in use this does smell quite medicinal and I found it rather pleasant. Not the sort of fragrance for a romantic evening though!Oh and apparently you have a year to use it up from first opening

Open-Up: Verdant fresh pine/eucalyptus (not delicate). Lemongrass: As expected. Both good in diffuser (3 drops only needed)
REVIEW #1: "OPEN UP"Smelling from the bottle, I thought this was all eucalyptus and would give the associated medical atmosphere to a room. However, from a diffuser the lemon and herbs come through and it's a much more balanced fragrance. I still only recommend 3 drops, not the 4 or 5 suggested on the box as the effect is more pleasing when subtle. This would be especially good in a conservatory or a room with many houseplants, as the green pine and lemony fragrance reminds me of alpine shrubbery. It's like bringing the garden inside. The lemon element to the fragrance isn't tangy, it's more of a dry, powdery lemon, making it less obvious and allowing it to blend better. Overall, it IS more fresh and eucalyptus/pine like than citrus. Hence the 'Open up' name I guess. Not for everyone, some may prefer a floral or vanilla pong from their diffuser but if you like something greener, this should suit.Review #2: LEMONGRASSThis is how you would expect, really. One person came into my office and though I'd been drinking ginger and lemon tea -an understandable assumption. This does simply smell of lemongrass, which is pleasant but a bit obvious and not exactly a complex fragrance.I'd be interested to know what the geranium or grapefruit numbers are like. And for citrus, verbena would be a livener.Still, this lemongrass is definitely a crowdpleaser and recommended for those who don't want any surprises.
