This light genuinely brought 2 grapefruit plants back to life and are now thriving. It turns itself on every night around 7:30 (winter time) and the light from this unit is enough to light my kitchen. So is theoretically saving me money on lighting.

Fantastic desk grow light! The stand is heavy so don't easily topple over. Easy to set up and adjust the height of the extendable rod. I wanted something that could go on a high shelf with a long enough plug lead of which this unit had. You can even dim or brighten the unit's LED lights by pressing the front panel with your finger and then move along to adjust to your liking. This is perfect. Easy to set the timer. What's not to like!

As other reviews have said this light does feel a bit cheap and flimsy. It’s not the most sturdy, however it’s a good plant light. I use it for my hoyas and I’ve noticed a lot of new growth since I started using this.

Seems to wok pretty good. My herbs seem to like it and are growing well. Helps as a backup when the sun is not shinning. Perfect for apartments. Uses very little electricity.

This is the perfect set up for a range of plants. Don't buy red and blue LED only lights. It's an erroneous conclusion based on a study of algae, obviously, plants are not algae and complex plants use all the spectra for various different things including green light since green light often all that's left to reach lower leaves. These white light contain a couple of strips of red LED's which is perfect to boost the lower end of the spectrum.It was dead easy to set up, very intuitive, you won't need the daisy change two pin plug if you only buy one. It gets slightly warm but, by no stretch of the imagination hot.You will need a timer separate timer if you don't want to have to switch the lights on and off manually. It's got an alarm too, not tried that yet so don't know if my ears would hear it. I barely hear the beep as you press the buttons to set it.

For how much the quality is terrible. The flat bade model is really unstable as the lamp is larger and heavier than the base. It's also hard to screw in the stand tight enough without feeling like it's going to break something. Also the switch is now making a dangerous sounding electrical pop, like something is shorting out. Wish i could return these.
