Purchased these for my sweatpants. I kept breaking the strings and then I would lose them. These are good but at their limit for length for someone who wears a 42 pants. They do have a metal aglet on the end of them. An "aglet" is a cap or small sheath on the end to keep it from unraveling. I didn't know these had them, but it is a bonus. The same thing that shoelaces have but these are metal.

These work well as replacement drawstrings. They are very long so you may have to cut them down to size by removing the metal tip, cutting it to length, then placing the metal tip back on. They fray easily so try not to over manipulate them when rethreaded them. Have a plastic threader tool helps immensely.

This is a hard-to-find longer cord that allows plenty of length to tie or even double-tie the drawstring. I use it to make waistbands adjustable. It would be great if more colors were available, but the three included are probably the most versatile. The metal threading tool works easily, much better than plastic versions I’ve tried.

It's soft and strong. The metal tips are nice. Also love the tools to run it through the waistband, hoodie, or help lace it up faster. And you get the tools every time you order! =) I like that you get more than one color. I buy these frequently. Always these. Well, when you find what works you just keep coming back for more. =)

These drawstring replacements arrived quickly, which is always a plus. The seller included two small tools to help feed the drawstrings through whatever you're working on. As someone who typically uses more old-fashioned methods, I decided to give these a try. I'm really glad I did! The metal tips provide a lot more leverage for easily threading the drawstrings through compared to cheap plastic ones the strings themselves. It made the whole process much simpler. While the metal tips at the end of the strings feel very sturdy. I don't foresee them breaking apart like plastic ones. Overall, happy with my purchase and excited to have them part of my craft bin.

So I used it as soon as it was delivered. So as the title says... this is a 50/50 review. Drawstrings are decent. That's the first 50%. BOTH the tools (tweezers) broke while using them to restring a pair of sweatpants...that's the other -50%. All I really wanted was the Drawstrings anyway, but if YOU purchase anything that comes with other items... you sort of want everything to work as expected. So I had to improvise, and made a DIY tool out of scrap wire/copper. Get what you pay for I guess, it is what it is. But my sweatpants are restrung & I can comfortably wear them without them falling off my butt.

perfect selection of 3 colours & 2 'bodkin' (ie. threading tool) comes in 1 bag. I am not a sewer but youtube showed me how to use the tools. Simple and easy by design! drawstrings are thick and end-capped. I had to replace 2 drawstrings in shorts which were too short after years of breaking off ends. Easy to do!

They are more than enough for sweat pants and hoodies

Did not come with the Threaders as in the description.
