Foolscap/A4 Steel Clipboard - Grey

I asked whether this was magnetic the 2024 version in the questions section. The seller responded to say no. It is in fact magnetic. As in, you can affix magnets to the metal that the board is made from. See photo. Just in case that's important. I wanted to place magnetic clips onto it to tie bracelets from embroidery floss. It's a very sturdy and quite heavy board. The spring clip is very very strong. It dents the threads slightly. It requires good strength to use, a child would struggle for example to depress the clip.

The clip board was very good quality and just exactly what was needed. Would highly recommend this product. First class and robust.

I got mine from Choice Stationery Supplies, here on Amazon, for £3.99. Very fast delivery. The clipboard is very slightly larger than most, very good. It is obviously far more rigid than hardboard or plastic clipboards,very good. The clamp is very strong, no papers will escape here, very good. It comes in a slightly hammered finish. That means a few sheets underneath the one you are writing on is advisable for the very best results. Not a problem. You can easily pay the same price for an "ordinary" clipboard, but you shouldn't. This will last for ever, probably!

Replacement for my identical old one. Used several times daily 5 days a week. When the clip spring goes again can be cut and used for some welding as the A4 shape is steel so in my opinion has two functions

I'd been looking for a reasonably-priced magnetic stainless steel to hold my cross stitch patterns in place, using a magnetic ruler. Sadly, a lot were not magnetic and had to be returned. After reading the reviews for this one, one of the reviewers said that although it was not advertised as being magnetic, it actually was. I, therefore, purchased one and it is just what I was looking for. I can now follow a very complicated cross stitch pattern with ease and am very pleased with my purchase. Would highly recommend.

Very good, just what I wanted. Doesn’t bend at all and hardwearing. Spring is nice and strong to clamp paper down.

It is good, solid, well made with strong clip and basically all I need from a clipboard.. BUT The rivets which secure the clip to the board are too low which makes no enough room for A4 paper. Shame as there is around 1.5cm room over the rivet.. So why make it so wrong?

I ordered the steel clipboard & I am delighted. Fantastic value for money; I work in a warehouse & needed something to be able to take a beating. This replaces a plastic W H Smith one that broke after only 3 days. I'd say I'd buy it again...but with a great clip & full metal body; I don't think I'll need to; but can certainly happily recommend it!

Je l'ai acheté pour mon fils qui s'est cassé le bras et ne pouvait pas tenir sa règle et son rapporteur pour faire sa géométrie. J'ai acheté des aimants: Lot de 12 aimants néodymes ultra puissants pour tableaux blancs et tableaux en verre | 8x8x10mm et ensemble il pouvait poser sa règle ou son rapporteur sur sa feuille et les bloquer avec les aimants pour dessiner. Il était ravi et son prof de mathématique aussi. J'avais cherché dans plusieurs magasin sans trouver trouver un en acier sur lequel les aimants pouvait fonctionner... Merci Amazon!
