Foxes will scoot
If you follow the instructions, it will deter foxes from hanging about as they'll think there is already another animal lurking and they'll want to avoid confrontation. It does seem to work, but not straight away, it may take a few days before they give up hanging around, and they may still transit through the area you've treated. It also doesn't work indefinitely, and it's quite expensive, so if after a few treatments you're not getting results, you'll probably need to try something else.

Doesn't work
I applied as instructed and I may as well have not used anything.

Not sure if it's working
After we spread water everywhere in the garden, it seems like foxes still come back to our garden, but it also seems like they make less mess in the garden, so I'm not sure it's working or not.

Seems to work with other treatments added
Seems OK - hard to know as fox has been back already, but I read that they do get used to these smells - maybe other people around here use it too. I mixed some essential oil fox repellent into the same sprayer and then used the mixture. Now that IS pungent!! Chemical warfare.... made me cough. I sprayed the perimeter, and a the moment, it seems to be working. Neighbours hate me though - but their fault - it's one of them who are feeding the damn fox.

Scoot by itself does not deter the foxes
We had foxes in our garden every night, multiple times through out the night that we could see from our security cameras. Used 2 sachets of Scoot as per instructions but there was absolutely no change, it did not affect them in the slightest. We finally decided to use a fold-up table and some old wood to block off the sides at the back of the garden, where they were entering from (jumping off the back wall shared with adjacent neighbours), we saw one fox that night who tried to jump up our fence to escape. After that, so delighted to say there have been no more fox visits! We will be finding a more permanent solution to block off the sides via a small gate/ fence as the current solution is just some wood leaning against the fences. It has been over 1 month with no visits - definitely give it a try. We know when the foxes are close as our neighbour has installed utlrasonic that produces a scream, but we haven't seen them in our garden. Our dogs actually stopped going on to the grass which made me wonder if it was to do with Scoot even though it says it is dog friendly. Won't be purchasing again.
