Hamilton Beach Digital Programmable Rice Cooker & Food Steamer, 8 Cups Cooked (4 Uncooked), With Steam & Rinse Basket, Stainless Steel (37518)

I'm just now getting around to using this item. I did 6 hard boiled eggs. I know, I added one to the middle to make it six. I have misplaced my user guide so I added 2 cups of water. I'll probably add 1.5 next time. The eggs are boiled to a perfection. They did break open a little but the yoke is still awesomely cooked. I think it was due to the extra water. They are actually steaming and not boiling. I think mine did both haha! I'm getting ready to do some brown rice. I would recommend this item. Nice, simple, easy, and fits anywhere due to it's size.

Excellent kitchen instrument. Easy to use, and does exactly what it advertises. Makes cooking and food prep faster and easier. Highly recommended. Came in in perfect order very quickly. Five stars on this one.

Fantastic quality and taste. The instructions are very simple to follow and it is very easy to cook the rice to a resturaunt quality. It's easy to clean and it's moisture collector ensures that the condensation that rises to the bottom of the lid doesn't fall into the hot plate. It's pretty durable and I haven't gotten any burnt rice.I went from making over satuated rice in my pot to fantastic rice I barely ever have leftovers of with the very first use of this rice cooker. I highly recommend it for long term use.

We bought this rice cooker because it had a function to cook hot cereal. My husband makes steel cut oats in it every night to have for breakfast in the morning. I ordered a new one for him for Christmas so we could put one in our new RV. The product arrived in the original package with some slight damage to the package. Because it was a gift I did not open it up I just wrapped it up for Christmas. We didn't need the rice cooker right away so we put it aside till we did. It is the middle of April and my husband is just now opening up the rice cooker to use it. When he opened the box he discovered that the outside it dented pretty good. It still functions but just doesn't look as nice as the others we have previously owned. That is why I gave it 4 stars.Functionality: this is a great product. We have purchased three in the last couple of years. We originally bought this rice cooker to replace a small round crockpot that the ceramic crock had broken. This product works well. My husband loves that he can set up his cereal before he goes to bed and it's ready in the morning. It has a delay timer hat will start the cooking and then when it's done it keeps the cereal warm and till ges ready to eat it. I have also made rice in it. I love that I can set up the rice to cook and then not have to worry about it while it's cooking. The rice comes out perfectly cooked and fluffy. It is not sticky.The rice cooker has an insert for steaming a small amount of vegetables or you can hard boil five eggs. I have not done either of those functions cause I have other ways to cook those items. Overall we love this product and highly recommend it. I would definitely buy it again.

What a great buy! Inexpensive and it works really well! I’m a huge white rice fan and this little thing cooks it so well! Adjust the water amount to your liking with trial and error. Works much better than an Instant Pot for rice. I very much recommend it

Son in law uses this ricer all the time . He said the he wished he had it before. Works great,the rice comes out perfect every time

You can set the timer to cook eggs to perfection! I seem my egg timer to 5 minutes to cook soft boiled egg for Japanese ramen. It is a smaller size pot, but it makes rice so fluffy. I have tried it with white rice, purple rice, and seasoned rice. It is very to clean and the smell does not stick to the pot.

The rice cooker looks good. Very clean and straight forward. Was not able to use it and had to schedule a return. It was shipped in the original package. The box it's too flimsy for shipping. Amazon should have packed it in a box with packing. Now they're going to have to eat it because it has a big dent in it. Either their shipping department is lazy or they're trying to save money. Either way, bad idea...!
