Perfect device for the advanced user.
This is a fully configurable and well documented device built for SOHO needs. It's really well built, and the added features of the TurrisOS operating system give a little extra than a standard OpenWRT router. I have no desire to ever go back to a standard off the shelf netgear or tp-link again.Caveat, this router is not as easily 'plug and play' as your standard home router. You will need to get familiar with the configuration. This is a feature of having a secure piece of equipment.

Amazing openWRT router!
Bought this router a couple of months ago and have absolutely loved it! Pairs great with mirotik switches and ubiquiti access points while acting as master control for the overall network! It was extremely easy to set up and get rolling, though I did have to go into openwrt proper instead of refloris to set up the wifi. The SFP port is a godsend for hooking into my onsite servers and the ability to plug a RAID into it and configure it for NAS usage is amazing! 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone wanting to dip their feet into openwrt or even experienced users of it!

Overpriced all-in-one kit
Decent router. Not sure it really has a good market niche though. For the price, you could get a dedicated minicomputer and some access points that would run wifi 6 instead.

This is an incredible router
I have used this as my home router for 3 years, including during and throughout the pandemic.I cannot overstate how reliable it is : It has never glitched or crashed. No interruptions to my internet nor my WiFi ever. Never had any issues with updates. It just works. It provides great performance though admittedly my home network is small: 7 personal devices, a printer, speakers and tv+console. All this supported by a 1 gbps symmetric link to the internet (FTTH). Never had any buffering, glitches, or slowdowns whatsoever. I only maxed it out while doing testing: 785 MB/s / 580 MB/s D/U. The hold up being my configurations.I also upgraded it to WiFi 6E which you can run if you opt for running OpenWRT stock. If you use TurrisOS you can go as far as WIFI 6. I also use a Trascend 128gb miniPCI SSD for running the OS and getting WiFi modules is easy if you want to expand or experiment. You can never go wrong using this router.

Shipped broken device?!
Antenna connector above "DC IN" is an empty hole, can hear something rattling around within case, and retaining nut was loose in box.Screws to open case seem to be tightened to the point that one would strip heads to attempt to retrieve antenna connector. No email address easily found on manufacture web-site.Consider me less-than enthused by build/shipping quality at this point.
