Excellent addition to my audio system and very pleased with the overall purchase. The vendor is fantastic!!! That is saying a lot these days. The customer service during the purchase and delivery process is unheard of these days, i actually talked to a real person that knew the order and internal process after i made a change to my delivery location. Thank you Vinny! I almost forgot to mention the pricing, more than competitive than the big box store’s and online audio video store’s like crutchfield. They just a have better pricing overall and offer bundles on a variety of high end audio products.

After agonzing over what hardware to put into our high vaulted ceiling living room, Amazon's 4th of July sales of DM60s came around and we bit the bullet.I could not have ever imagined how often I would sit on our sofa crying and with goose bumps running all over my body. There are probably many reasonable sound systems that you can get at this price point. But for a large head space room in a woodframe building with hardwood floors for low frequency resonance, the bipolar design seems super ideal. These speakers enable the music to make a stone cry!

These speakers are very well built and sound amazing. I went with the small top speakers that plug into the tops of the larger speakers and it makes a difference.

I have seen amp failures in some of the reviews for these. I own the DT 9060 towers. I have gone through 2 sets of speakers and 5 amps. I don’t listen to these loud or have bass adjusted high. I’m curious how many people are having amp issues on DT powered towers? It seems as though DT has not figured out the amp problem and if this is the case, I would stay away from these. They do sound great but it is not worth fighting with customer service teams for the life of the speaker.

Excellent value and sound fantastic. There are perfect if you already have a subwoofer.

I moved from a Focal tower to Def techs. I had purchased Focal's based on Audiophile reviews. Focal was OK (after listening to DM80) these DM80s are a beast. I purchase it last thanksgiving, (after listening to them at Magnolia, Best By after I compared these with B&W and some others) and wanted to give a full 12 months before i gave my review. They will blow your mind for home theater.

Love these speakers. They make everything sound good. Thin profile.
