Reviewed at £27.44Wildbirds foods fall into 2 categories:1 - Rubbish - full of wheat, split peas, split corn, basically cheap fillers that are pigeon food (50% waste)2 - expensive - good food for garden birds, but wildly over priced (little waste, but your wallet takes a battering)I decided to buy all the best components (canary seed, sunflower hearts, red dari, mixed millet and black sunflower seeds) that make up the type 2 food in bulk and make my own. This is an expensive initial outlay, but so far the results have been impressive with more species visiting, noticably less waste, less 'digging' for the nice seed and fewer pigeons.I now have over 100kg of bird seed....should last a while.In summary - expensive initial outlay and you need space to store it, but better quality of food, less waste and cheaper overall.

I purchase a 20kg bag 3may tried it with canaries/finches/parakeets they would stave rather than eat it ,is this product ok to give to wild birds as cage birds will not touch it
