Bought for the Wife
Needed to train the wife on a new shotgun. She needed practice loading and unloading, racking, and practice firing the gun. This is great practice before actually going to the range.

Stop searching, these are perfect.
Simply fantastic snap caps. I was concerned originally considering the price (having purchased A-zooms in the past) and not wanting to invest in something so disappointing again, boy howdy I was wrong though. After two weeks abusing these the only real sign of wear is from the ejector (and be aware that is just the cost of doing business really) but they still cycle wonderfully. They feel solid, weigh just about right for their size and make an excellent training aid. Coming in packs of 9 you should be able to fully load up and test most shotguns easily even my 590 9-shot was fully filled and run through without having to buy them in sets of 2 (darn you Azoom!). I will be buying their 9 mm snap caps for testing soon as well, its nice to find a product that actually performs as intended. My only complaint is that with the colors available they are very close to commercial cartridge coloring and thus its a touch harder to distinguish them as snap caps compared to real shells without looking at the primer. A citrus or blaze green or orange option would be a great color addition to the line up B-unique if you are reading these.

Amazing!
These are probably one of my favorite and most enjoyable things I've bought for my shotty. I can practice at home reloading techniques without having to worry about a real round going off. With that being said, all safety measures should still be played. Don't point a gun at someone even if it's unloaded. Overall, they're just great. They sit nice and tight in my saddle, no feeding issues, no extraction issues and they don't look like a fake round. So photo shoots with them is an option. It's helped me learn how to reload faster and being faster than the guy next to me, putting rounds down range and doing damage is a good thing for me. Don't want to be slow in a life or death situation

The Tactical Prepper
Very cool "dry fire" shotgun shells. I got these to practice my speed reloading drills for my Mossberg 590. (Awesome shotgun by the way.) I love these things! These are the 2 3/4" dark blue shells. They're "weighted" so they are the same weight as real shells, a rubber primer so it wont ruin your firing pin and made with quality metal for the brass head so you can drop these on the floor with no worries. Never had a problem with jamming or reloading. They fit in my shotgun side saddle like a glove. I also love how you can practice reloading with these and because they are weighted you get a real world feeling of how "heavy" your fully loaded firearmwill be. Very satisfied.

and are balanced exactly like real ammo
The only safe way to practice speed-reloading if you are a competitor. These dummy cartridges helped me master the "2-at-a-time" speed reloading technique with my Mossberg 930-JM Pro in a very short time, without having to worry about using live rounds.I also use them to train family members and friends on how to load, unload, and fire my Mossberg 500 pump in a safe and secure manner. They look, feel, and are balanced exactly like real ammo, and are very realistic. They handle and cycle perfectly in every shotgun I've tried them in. Highly recommended for personal training and practice, and as a safe teaching aid for instructors. Aside from a good safe and a good cleaning kit, these dummy rounds are probably one of the most beneficial investments you can make as a shotgun owner!

Work well, could be more durable
These are pretty good dummy shells, but after several cycles through the shotgun, the lip of the brass section becomes deformed from being loaded and ejected. This is the same thing that happens to a regular shotgun shell, but of course you only use a real shotgun shell once. Eventually, the damage to the lip of these dummy shells makes them cycle a little erratically and eject improperly. Still a good product overall, but would be nice to see a more durable lip so they'd last longer. The rubber 'primer' is a nice touch.

Great while it lasted....
Bought 2 sets since the beginning of the year to practice reload. The hulls feels great and I prefer these over the A-Zoom ones. However, there are two things to keep in mind.1. They will last longer if you do not chamber them into the barrel. Each time I feed a round into my Mossberg 930, it shaves a small layer of the hull into my receiver. They will last much longer if you are just practicing reloading into the mag tube and unloading directly from the mag tube instead of cycling them to eject the shells out.2. Do not leave them in your car even if it's only a few hours. 90% of my shells got ruined when I left them in my car for 3-4 hours. The heat caused the shells to fall apart and causing the crimp to open up and the bb's and the glue oozed out and made a huge mess.*UPDATE* - After posting the review, I was contacted by the seller to better understand what happened to my training rounds. He has since then sent me replacement rounds free of charge. That is superb customer service.

Great snap caps
After reading tons of reviews on other snap caps I ended up purchasing these because of the brass case. The quality of these snap caps is awesome! They don't chip flake or fall apart like most of the plastic or aluminum snap caps. The only issue that I have had is that because they are weighted like a live round, they don't eject as well as an empty shell. It really isn't a big deal, just feels a little different when you are cycling the shotgun. Of course you would have a similar issue on the loading side if they weren't weighted. Overall a great snap cap and I will definitely by again if these things ever wear out!
