A memorable gift
I bought for a Christmas gift and have to say it has went down well. Lovely quality, well packaged and presented. Nice to buy some a nice bottle of whiskey, but, this will last a lot longer.

Good quality. Made in Germany though and not Ireland
Nice set and of good quality. The glasses feel a bit standard ie nothing special in terms of design . Disappointing though to see that it is manufactured in Germany as Waterford crystal is synonymous with Ireland....

Beautiful cut glass but packaging let's it down
The media could not be loaded. EDIT:I decided to give Waterford a chance and ordered another set, literally the next day.This one was worse than the first one I ordered. The box was damaged upon arrival. The packaging inside had no Styrofoam at all to cushion the delicate tumblers. One of the tumblers was so badly smashed, it cut my husband as soon as he opened the box as he didn't realise that there were glass shards all along the inside of the box. This was our crystal anniversary, so I wanted to get him a nice crystal decanter set. Such an absolute shame. The second experience has made me take out 2 more stars. I would give it zero, if I could.Beautifully cut crystal glass and it catches the light magnificently. Shame that one of the tumblers had a chip and one had a visible scratch. The packaging was quite disappointing as well. It was flimsy cardboard with crumbly Styrofoam inside. No lining or anything. Expected better from Waterford.
