I got this one for our second smaller microwave as it is slightly smaller in circumference and shows better with the silicone grips. This unit is sized to sit ON standard US dinner plates, which is, I'm sure, why they pictured it with salad size dishware. Some casual dining ware has 10" plates, check if you want this to rest on the floor of the microwave. I'm okay with this as I knew when I purchased it, but some may not care for it. My 12.5" cover just barely fits over a standard dinner plate, and this is 11.5". I like the colored grips as I have a vision impaired family member, and he has difficulty with my 100% translucent unit. After reading positive reviews, we decided to give this a try. It's very easy to use and easy to clean in the dishwasher. We attach it to the ceiling of the microwave when not in use. The one negative is that in order to attach to the microwave, there's a small target area in the center of the microwave ceiling that must be "hit" exactly or the cover doesn't adhere. So I sometimes feel like I'm playing darts. Once you get used to this, finding the "target" becomes easy. I'd recommend testing your microwave with a magnet before buying, because some microwaves don't work easily with this.

This is a great idea and it is useful but the top of my microwave directly over the glass plate is not metal so I have to move the cover to the side to store inside the oven. That was one of the pluses when I purchased this, that it would be right there almost impossible to not use. That said it does accomplish what it is supposed to accomplish. I would purchase this again.

So i do like this product but the magnets can be a bit weak. Sometimes requiring sometimes multiple tries and placement to get it to stick. Then again the roof of our microwave wasn't flat. We tried it on another with a flat top and it worked much better. I like the rubber along the sides. The plastic does feel a bit weak but it does get the job done in the end.

So, I bought two, one for me and one for my sister. Well, to be honest, my nieces didn't follow common sense and drop the cover from the roof of the microwave over the plate. It helps to use it properly. I love it. I don't have to find a space to put it when I remove a hot dish from the microwave

WOW !! It 's simply GREAT ! It stays CLEAN NOW ! A REAL TIME SAVER, and that's an understatement !!! A MUST HAVE for ALL Microwaves, (that can hold a 12" plate cover). I should have had this years & years ago ! You WON'T have to clean it as often as you did before, maybe never ! Worth 1000 times what it cost just in not having to clean it all the time. WOW !! A true marvel of our age ! Gary

This is a great idea and works well.Only disappointment is that the magnet is not strong enough.This has got a good design like top vents and gap feet, and is a is a lifesaver. Saves time and keeps the microwave splatters away.Please upgrade the magnets.I would purchase this again.

Bought this because I saw something similar on tv. Works great except that my microwave has a plastic piece on the roof of it so I have to set the magnets to the side to get it to stick. Other than that it’s been a great addition to my kitchen gadgets!
