SALOMON Unisex Radium Multilayer Ski Goggles (pack of 1)

I have just returned from a week of skiing and left the review until my return.These goggles have been used for skiing on the mountain in sunshine, overcast, cloudy, sleet, rain and snow conditions and have performed well in all conditions with the standard category 2 lens that they come with.I also purchased the Radium Photochromic(cat 1-3) Lens to try with this goggle as you can change the lenses and found that unless it was really bright that I could see just as well with either lens. I probably could have managed with just the standard category 2 lens that this pair of googles came with.When you look through the goggles with the standard lens that is supplied with this pair of goggles, you have a slight rose tint and this is a helpful colour when the light is less than perfect.Changing the lens takes a few minutes as you need to carefully unclip the nose side first and then work your way around releasing the lens from the frame. Fitting of the new lens is similar and then you have to use a microfibre lens cleaning cloth to remove all of your fingerprints you have put onto the lens during the fitting process. In the user-manual they recommend swapping the lens indoors.Fortunately the standard lens is good so I do not think it is necessary to keep on swapping lenses.The lenses for this goggle are double glazed and the only time that they fogged-up was when I had lifted the goggles up onto my helmet at lunchtime.(probably not recommended but lots of people seem to do it!) Whilst the goggles were being worn properly, they never fogged at all but I used them with the recommended Salomon Husk helmet which has ventilation channels to help stop the fogging.These are good goggles, the only slight negative could be that there seem to be lots of competitor brands around these days selling similar looking goggles for a fraction of the price. Someone in my ski-group had a competitor product that had magnetic changeable lenses that seemed to perform well too and he had paid less than half what I had for these.

Estas gafas las tenía pre-seleccionadas y las compré, honestamente, porque por uno de estos misterios, en vez de €80 estaban a €50. Son Salomon. El cristal se ve bueno y la visión y comodidad, por el precio que he salieron, son espectaculares.O sea, hay que tener cosas en la cesta y estar pendiente de cuando caen tanto de precio que se han de comprar.
